Absolutely horrible experience!! My friends and I came here on Sunday, November 10th at 2:27. We ordered by 2:29 a.m., both parties. While my boyfriend and I proceeded to get our food at 2:38 a.m., my friend and her boyfriend did not get their food till 3:02 a.m. Even though they continued to serve other peoples orders first, who had ordered after them!! It was rude and foolish, the staff was disrespectful and did not care to serve my friend’s order at all despite approaching them nicely several times about the wait for the food. Again, several people, nearly 15 people were served after my friends had placed an order for 4 tacos and a side of nachos. That is absolutely ridiculous, to wait for 30+ minutes for a few food items. On top of that, the food was not properly served the way they requested it.
Additionally, I had ordered both the cheesy Gordita crunch and the cheesy roll up, which were all filled with nacho cheese which is completely incorrect and disgusting, and they are both typically made with real shredded Mexican blend cheese, (Photos provided below). The staff was also not practicing food safety protocols nor completing the recipes correctly for the tacos, I was very disappointed as I have never had this experience before at any Taco Bell. The meat was barely stuffed, and there was no spicy ranch topping on the cheesy Gordita crunch, that. It was completely lackluster, utterly disappointing, and gross. To me this was completely unacceptable service and staff should have been more accommodating to both parties, and either provided a refund or to remake items PROPERLY and CORRECTLY. On top of that, towards the end of the time we were there, the place started smoking, like they had burned something while cooking. Read moreAs a customer and as a delivery person, this place sucks. Everything i ordered was soggy, didn’t include the sauces I added, took forever even though they said my order was ready. This would be forgivable though if they didn’t have a complete jerk working there. The security guard there in the evenings is one of the most disgusting and rudest people I’ve ever encountered working in any food establishment. I see he has a habit of treating customers like trash because someone else left a negative review about his horrible attitude. Tonight I saw him talking down to a delivery man who accidentally spilled some soda when trying to put the lid on the drink. Like straight up belittling and chastising this man in such an unnecessary way. On a separate occasion he literally yelled and swore at me in front of the entire restaurant because I asked him not to speak so condescendingly at me. I was infuriated by that interaction but was willing to let it go until I saw how he treated this guy. He’s a habitual douchebag and he should not be speaking to anyone like that. This location is less than 500 ft from my home. I ordered food from Grubhub an entire hour before it closed at 2am. They kept pushing back my delivery into well after 2am.
I feared they would close and just not do the the delivery. It happens in the food industry sometimes.
I do the reasonable thing and call the location. I call and the phone rings and rings, no answer. I call at least twice before someone takes the phone off the hook.
I get dressed and head to the restaurant. Mind you, it's 20 degrees out and I am a lone woman on a city street at 1:50am. I get there and find the door locked, but patrons are inside. I won't lie, I beat loudly on the door.
No answer, no one answers the door or even attempts to acknowledge me.
I am a black woman in a predominantly white area and I was angry. I really feel there were definitely racist biases at work here.
