I have ordered delivery from them several times in the food is good. But since I was in the neighborhood, I decided to just stop in and save myself a service fee..
BIG MISTAKE.
If I had continued to order delivery. I would have been blissfully unaware of the conditions of where my food was being made.
I won't say it was dirty because it was beyond that it looked like an episode of horters.
All kinds of metal car, it's an equipment scattered everywhere.
Dirty floors, dirty walls, and only 2 little dirty wobbly tables with no chairs against the wall while you wait for your food.
Luckily, you can see where the food is being made. And the guy that was doing the prep did have on gloves but no hairnet. And I was OK with that. Until a second guy came into talk to him and distracted him, So he forgot the part of my order I actually came in for ( My regular veggie plate.) PLUS the second guy did not have any health or safety equipment on, Just walked in off the street and straight into the kitchen. so nope to that. I will NOT be going back nor ordering delivery anymore.
It's such a shame because I decided to order the mixed grill to try the meat. Because normally I only get a veggie plate and. the meat was not that bad... But all I could think of while standing. There was if Gordon Ramsey walked in, he would shut...

One day, a few weeks ago, I stopped into Tanoor in search of lamb shawerma when I didn't want to make the trek to Hyde Park. After the great taste and affordable price subsided, I keep going back for their superb service. Granted, they're a newer location and are still growing into the space, they treat the customer very well.
On numerous occasions I've tried several of the items on their menu and was pleased with everything. The baba ganouj, hummus and lentil soup are outstanding. I placed an order at 2:27 P.M. and haven’t received anything and it’s now 4:27 P.M. at the time of writing. They don’t answer the phone under any circumstances. I’m about to drive over there to see what the issue is and get a refund, which completely defeats the purpose of ordering delivery in the first place. Not only do I have to go to the location to get a refund, now I have to go and get food from elsewhere. Overall bad experience, can’t even rate the food because it hasn’t ever showed up after nearly 2 hours . Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
