El Mezquite — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Food: The char cebollitas with char Jalapeños were SALTY AF 🤮🤮. The BARBACOA DE RES SALTY AS WELL 😳

SERVICE: They charged me 20% just for 4 people (DINE IN) when they should charge that fee when it's a party of 6 or more. This is JUST RIDICULOUS. THAT'S WHY PEOPLE REFUSE TO EVEN TIP... BUT THEY QUIETLY INCLUDE THIS RIDICULOUS CHARGE IN THE ORDER WITHOUT THE CLIENT'S KNOWLEDGE. Why in the world are they chargin the client this fee? Isn't it their job to service clients? I mean, that's their job... it's not the clients fault these employees are not earning enough. If that's the case, then request a raise but don't be slipping in an extra charge that is not fair for the customer. The fact that the lady, told us "Oh, this is a charge for servicing you for 4 people" with a SMIRK on her face really upset me. 😡🤬😡😡

SALSAS: The salsas they give come in a small cup, which in my opinion is BLAND, NO FLAVOR AT ALL.

THAT'S WHY PEOPLE NOWADAYS ARE REFUSING TO EVEN DINE IN, BECAUSE BUSINESSES ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CHARGING EXTRA... BU THE WAITRESS EXPECTED A TIP 🤷🏻‍♀️.

First and LAST TIME I BRING MY FAMILY TO THIS PLACE.

I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR A FAMILY DINNER. I THINK THERE ARE BETTER PLACES RATHER THAN THIS ONE.

Im sorry. Maybe you all are okay with this place but i sure am NOT!. How are you going to give me an attitude for giving you all my experience in other restaurants. All i said was that where ive been they do not charge me for getting avocado in my tortas? This place has very bad customer service. They are so rude. And have so many rules in order to get anything here. You can not scratch your lotto tickets here? But why? You can not curse? You can not have saggy pants? I get it. It is nasty to show your undies but maybe that is why it is very empty here. You have waaay more rules than anything. I asked for a menu and you tell me to look around actually you didnt tell me you just pointed around so i can just read it. And the one customer you had was the one who gave me a menu and showed me where they were. You cannot bring a drink in here? The minimum you can order is 2 tacos? Boy oh boy never again...

The food is amazing !!! The service 🤔🙄 not so well I had my breakfast it was really good even though I wanted some coffee I didn't understand what the server said about the coffee machine I guess it was not working !! They also charge you if you decide to bring outside beverages to be honest I'm not coming back unless is for...
