This was the worst tasting paneer butter masala we’ve ever had without exaggeration. If I give them the benefit of a doubt that regularly it tastes better than what we were given, then it is a terrible thing that the larger framed lady at the window handed us this subpar order, knowing it has been watered down, and a naan that was soft as opposed to the crispy request given upon call.
Looking back, it was sketchy that they had our food ready, and look like it’s been ready for a while, with only 8 mins ETA drive from when we called to our arrival for pickup. The gravy was very spicy, and that is all that was done to it. It lacked salt and seasoning. It was watered down to fill up our tiffin, but looked like it was last batch on the pot that isn’t fresh. Shame on these people.
In terms of service, it was definitely not great either. We called around 9:20pm to ask price for paneer butter masala, and a louder toned lady shouted behind scenes to person taking our order to make sure it can be picked up by 10pm. We heard the whole conversation they had that delayed our phone call, and the soft spoken lady came back to the phone to us to say it needs to be picked up before 10pm. We said we were 5 mins away and that’s no problem. Then as we were hurried to pickup our order, the lady continued to take our personal details and blatantly continued to ignore my query of how much things would be before I decide to make an order. Finally my husband emphasized to her again that we need to know cost first, and finally she answered. By this time she had already wasted so much time that we went ahead and placed it, on top of my husband specifically requesting extra cooked crispy naan. Again as stated, we arrived 8 mins from our call, and I didn’t think much of it, till tasted how badly the food was, but that is just so odd that the dish is ready and not piping hot anymore 8 mins from when we placed order.
We received a small container, and only my husband ate and could not even finish half of it, besides forcing himself the other half to fill his hunger. He couldn’t even finish his naan because it was wet and rubbery. We kept the leftover food in hopes to be able to offer the owner or workers at the restaurant to taste this gravy and honestly tell us that they think this is acceptable to serve to us.
We definitely were scammed with this order just for sale and deserve a refund. If they were so adamant on closing a little early than 10pm or straight 10pm and hesitantly are giving us proper dishes, then just say so and decline our pickup order, that’s no problem. But don’t serve us leftover and water it down to fill our container just to put a...

My fiance and I to celebrate our anniversary we come here on Jan 1 2018 @ 7 pm with RSVP. We noticed that the place is nice and clean. Busy with orders out and dinning in so we can understand the wait with only 2 active waiters. When we 1st sat down we wasn't greeted nor water in 1st 7 minutes. We get our water and 2 other couples sit down beside us and where Caucasian middle aged. They got their water when sitting but we don't care about that due to it being busy. Then 2 other Caucasian males sat down next to the other couple and the same service. We had to then ask can we give you our order please and thanks. He took it then about 10minutes later the couple's all seemed to know what they wanted. I'm a vegetarian and my fiance eats chicken and order the buttered Chicago 1 St and then the lady next ordered the same as well again 10 minutes later. And the gentleman who sat last ordered as well. The irony is that the 2 Caucasian men got there food 1st and where like ok no problem then the other couples that sat down next to us got there food and then we noticed that she had the same meal as what my fiance ordered 10mins beforehand! We asked to speak to a manager because we felt so disrespected and no one seem to really care much and the messed up thing is that my waiter and others where dark skinned so the assuming that he would understand that this isn't no way fare didn't want to even make things right nor a manager came out to talk to us. No loud word exchanges or anything just stated we would pay for the Samosas and the Coke since that's what we only consumed within a 45 min wait and still our food he said wasn't done. This is what is wrong with society today and when things such as this don't get fixed then nothing but more unwanted and unneeded situations will manifest it ugly heads!!! I hate to write this review. Facts are Facts and no Justification made shows...
Read moreThe quaint colorful space created an intimate atmosphere. There are vibrantly warm colored cushions along the wall accompanied by chairs across the table. On the wall closest to the exit there is a lively mural of the culture, tradition, and the seasonings used in the food that is quite pleasing to the eye. Behind the comfortable seats against the wall hang simple photographs some monochromatic. The menu is a wide two-sided laminated single sheet organized by vegetarian appetizers and omnivorous. I ordered vegetarian samosas, two is the portion size with a maroon sweet finely grained sauce and a pulpy green sauce with a bit of a kick. Fried and absolutely steaming upon arrival, crispy caramel colored crust crackling when breaking. I've been to my fair share of Indian restaurants and vegetarian samosas are always the first dish with which I begin. As lovely to the tastebuds as to the remaining senses. The entrees are divided by type of meat; chicken, seafood, and lamb. The chili peppers denote the level of spice. They offer five levels mild, medium, enjoyable, sweat, and shower. I chose enjoyable for the lamb vindaloo as well as the shrimp vindaloo. Thin white smoke coming off each bowl with a side of biriyani just as fresh. Aromatic shrimp underneath a blanket of thick merlot sauce. Flavorful, herbaceous, and delicious with a slowly creeping fiery taste settling in after each bite. The lamb was unbelievably tender feeling every individual fiber rolling on my tongue just as peppery and delectable as promised. They serve several types of naan and I chose garlic, it arrived buttery, lightly browned and delicately crunchy with herbs sprinkled. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and wish I had room for dessert. The average for each entree was $11-17 and appetizers $6. Mango and Rose Lassi were offered as drinks, being very familiar with the tangy sweet refreshing mango I opted for the rose. I was quite disappointed, not what I was expecting more like a tart yogurt smoothie than floral, but it does offer BYOB. Quite a simply...
