Bubo Coffee — Restaurant in West Chicago

Get something - become a "snob"! (in a good way!) I've been away too long... -- miss this coffee! Pass it up at your own loss!

I moved away from the area about a year ago (2016). Dam* I miss that coffee perfection. I'm now in Central Illinois but Enrique (the Bubo Coffee expert!) at least gave me some advice how to setup my home configuration to be as close as possible to his (hint - it's not, but there are no coffee shops down here close, period.).

He turned me into a coffee snob so fair warning - after having pretty much anything he's selling - trying to get it as high-quality elsewhere will be a doomed task; he's an expert bar none.... I can't say it enough - the coffee is outstanding as is the wheatgrass and espresso shots. Sorry for the bad review of your latte - I just don't do coffee and milk no matter how dam* good it is!

Bulletproof? Gosh what a drink. If you don't believe me, he'll probably give you one for "free". --- awesome drink and he'll tell you the ingredients - all natural and all yummy.

So I was really excited to finally find a local coffee shop to stop by before work. Their Google said open 7-2. Stopped by before 8 it was closed. Facebook had different times so showed up a bit after 8 and again it was closed. Finally I was able to find it open and yes the coffee is great, customer service is great as well. I do love it. However, the 3 stars are because the hours are so screwed up and I it's not a reliable place for me to make a quick coffee stop. Just noticed Google says it's open from 6-4. I stopped by a couple of times two weeks ago 8:06 and 8:10 am. It was closed. So now I'm on the hunt again for another local coffee shop. Sadly not many out there. It would be nice if business hours were updated to be accurate. Very important for customers considering everyone relies on on-line information to find out more...
