Egg Yolk Cafe — Restaurant in West Chicago

This place has always been one of the finest restaurant to grab some great breakfast here in this area of West Chicago. The food here was absolutely amazing! I am really impressed! I really love all of their food on their menu and also all of their offers and deals. Their food taste so unique and homemade. They the best brunch food I have ever been in this area. All of their selection is a top-notch. Their menu is so decent, you can clearly see the selection, and your mouth will water while looking at their menu. Everything at this place is fantastic. The staff members here are very kind, friendly, decent, and professional. They really care to all of their customers, they are always willing to help and assist the customers all around the place, and even giving all the things that the customers need from their kitchen such as extra cutlery, water, condiments, tissues, etc. They are really personable staff. Outstanding service! The whole place is decorated nicely, organized, and bright. All of their dining tables and chairs are perfectly aligned. The place is really enjoyable and comfortable. It is so big and wide. Perfect for any special occasions and celebrations. You all must visit this place and you will not regret it. This place has everything! "it's a damn dirty world" I thought as I walked towards the door of the little diner. The deep from my truck doors locking went off in unison with the bell on the door. "what was Jimmy thinking?" I thought as they pointed me to my seat. "I'll have the soup and the chicken pesto" I told the waitress... It would go well with the taste of betrayal. After so many years what made that no good two bit chump think he could try and lay stakes on my turf? The soup arrived, and much like Jimmy. It was more than you might expect. Like Jimmys life a stew of depravity with vices mixed it that you wouldn't expect. The soup was more than met the eye. With yummy bits that exceeded expectations. My hand was shaking on the spoon. The same hand that gripped his in a clasp of friendship as the sandwich arrived. It was good too.... As I paid my bill they asked if I'd come back... I took a deep drag of my cigarette and said "who knows tuts? In this damn......

I feel like the Lone Ranger here. Most people seemed to be happy, but we certainly weren't.

We went for my granddaughter's birthday There were 6 of us, not a huge crowd. My son ordered a breakfast burrito and it didn't come until everyone else was done. My basted eggs were way overcooked and the toast didn't get there until I was 80% finished. My daughter-in-law's Benedict spent way more time under a heat lamp than it did on the stove. I'm really surprised they had the nerve to send it out. It had a hard crust on it from sitting so long. I'm not sure about the other three meals. I got embarrassed asking how it was.

We got plenty of "sorry"s, but we should have gotten something comped. Yeah, they seemed to be nice people, but I feel like they may no real effort to make it right.
