I literally can’t fully describe how unbelievably amazing this Los Comales is and how phenomenal this group of family owned restaurants is, starting with the Little Village location and Niles. Many of the competitors chain Mexican restaurants in greater Chicago serve meats and food that is dripping with grease and your tacos or enchiladas just drip through the tin foil because of how unhealthy-calorie wise the cuts of meat are. This has become a trend amongst the chains of Mexican Restaurants that are not like the experience you have in The different regions of Mexico I have traveled to like Jalisco and Bay of Banderas (Puerto Vallerta and Nueva Vallarta. Los Comales and their family group of restaurants like this one cooks up some of the most delicious and healthy chicken (tinga) and asada, and cooks and uses only fresh cut grilled veggies, onions, cilantro, and tomatoes. The refried beans can be ordered without cheese w/ tomato’s on top which are so awesome, hands down the most amazing refried beans. And then you get to the guacamole and salsas, try the avocado salsa and the salsa verde, possibly among the best salsas north of Jalisco, Mexico. This is the real, healthy, also 100 percent authentic deal. If you want some of the most amazing Mexican food out there and want to dine healthy, come to Los Comales, West Chicago and their group of restaurants including Little Village and Niles. Lastly, and most importantly the staff goes immeasurably above and beyond and treats every guest with love, because they care so much about every customer. Huge tremendous shout outs to Myra and Jose (owners) and their incredible staff and leaders who are rock star human beings including Adriana, Kathy, Imelda, Rosa, Carlos, and Carla just to name a few. The rest of the staff are equally amazing and also deserve equal recognition, so make sure to visit Los Comales. Myra and Jose the owners and their staff with take care of you, and you’ll enjoy the best and healthiest and authentic...

She asked for the name on the order, she asked me if I ordered something I didn’t and I told her “3 al pastor tacos” she grabbed a bag and gave it to me. I walked out and started driving, but something told me I needed to check the bag, it was the WRONG order!!! I went back and told the cashier that it was the wrong order. She asked me what did you order? I said “3 al pastor tacos” and she asked again “did you pay already?” I said yes. She asked me what kind of salsa I wanted and I answered, then she told the cook about my order and gave me a bad, she said “sorry for the wrong order”. I said thank you and walked out. Then my brother told me it was only two tacos in the bag, that’s when I got mad. I called the restaurant and they told me to go back for the taco, I told them I didn’t want the taco then she told me to call the app I ordered from for a refund because that’s what the owner told her. I am so disappointed about the costumer service and the service at all at this restaurant. If I didn’t not consumed from here before I’m never going to in the future. Such a...

Just went to the new location, looked nice but the girl (Rosita) a the register gave us the wrong amount as change (short $5). We asked for no ice in our drink, it had ice she took it back and said “I’m just going to take the ice out” switched it to a smaller cup with what was left of the drink never filled up the rest with more of the drink as we originally intended it to be. We had one burrito to go they packed the wrong one. She seemed annoyed to even be there. The burrito barely had any meat and the lettuce tasted straight out of a bag no cleaned very well. Will not be coming back cilantro or Taco Bell has better service for the same amount of food and it’s tastier than this. Don’t waste your...

We have ordered from this Los Comales location for years but we will no longer do so. The prices of menu items are not online and the paper menu that they handed me when I picked up my food yesterday did not reflect the prices I paid for my food. I asked for a new menu because I assumed the menu we had at home was old. The Fajitas de Pollo state 14.99 on the menu and I was charged $19.99 (see menu picture)! That’s 25% higher! They also charge a 4% fee for paying with credit card without explaining this before paying. Complete rip off. So disappointed! Never again.

Los Comales is an authentic taco place in West Chicago with an easygoing atmosphere. During my visit at lunch hours, it was bustling with takeout customers and foot traffic. Again, during my next visit on Saturday night, the taco place was busy with dine-ins and more takeout customers. The place upholds its traits of quick service and friendly staff even on its late schedule till 3:00 A.M. on Saturday nights. A must try at Los Comales is the taco and torta. I came here last year when I was out here in Chicago & was pleased, so decided to go back which was a big mistake. All our order was wrong from the beginning; fixed it with an attitude, forgot an order, came back with some sauce for the birria tacos which seemed like they got some dirty dish and watered down some left overs, simply bad. I ordered some enchiladas which were fixed and even after that they were a miss.
