I have no words to even begin to tell everybody about everything this place did for me and my family, my sister lives and Chicago and she tested positive for Covid-19; she was so sick she could not get up to even grab something to eat; I live in Arizona and I call this place thinking that they would be affiliated to door dash, uber eats or any other delivery service they did not offer the service but the owner was so kind and patient to me over the phone he told me what he had in the menu, I ask him for a certain type of food and he did everything to accommodate my order and he even took it to my sister(he left the order at the door for his safety) I was so worried for my sister because other places that I called did not have a delivery service they did not offer to take it either, and the owner would take the order anytime I would call him and he would deliver it right away, he went above and beyond what I would expect from a restaurant, the food was phenomenal, I will always be in debt to them, if you are looking for a great place to eat mexican food I highly recommend it, you will find great service and...

On my way there I discussed what makes a Spanish restaurant on point, I tend to get Burritos often so it starts there. Burrito can't be floppy and fall apart while eating. Clean, this is a rarity I mean not crazy greasey while eating. Crispy finish after folded often theyll kind of toast the outside on the top and bottom of burritos.
La Cocina checked every requirement. On top of that Margaritas came in huge mugs and we're full of flavor and not overly sugary found often elsewhere. Don't forget the Flan it was fresh and delicious. This is one of the top Spanish restaurants in the area make...
Read moreWalk into a warm little place that feels like going to your favorite relatives house . The owners welcome you with a warm hello and ready to explain the menu We got the torta , Huarache, orden de alambre and enchiladas verdes. They have a variety of salsa that come in different heat levels that are superb at changing the already tasty food . Our favorite was the torta and the hurache. I also got the cafe de olla which was delicious and the agua de Jamaica was very refreshing . I had a conversation with the owners after and they are the most admirable people with home roots prioritizing family and maintaining culture values. Fully recommend this place to be a stamp of what West Chicago represents as...
