70's Saga Ramen & Curry — Restaurant in West Covina

It was late night, I was dying for some Japanese curry and sushi.

Found this place online and I ordered to go for this place's katsu curry and also rainbow roll. Their sushi rice are actually just regular rice, not seasoned which is kind of disappointing for a sushi place since it diminishes the flavor.

The fishes they used in the roll are not the freshest fish, or the better area of the fish, as the fish tasted a bit off. I can see why this place didn't really collect the best review.

Their curry was not bad, however the rice portion seem like it was more than the curry and meat for the price.

Would order to go again for curry as there isn't many places that make curry now. However wont ever come back here for sushi to go since their rice is so bland...

I took my girlfriend here expecting a nice diner, but it wasn't that convincing. I got black ramen which chashu( sliced pork) was death cold , I'm not Japanese but I can tell when something looks good. This was my first time having ramen with cold meat. Never had anything alike before from so many ramen shops. My girlfriend ordered kastu curry , which we truly believe that was not made curry but instant curry, so disappointed , . In our personal opinion when anyone goes to a place to eat, when the food is good no matter which day or time we go, if food is good , is good period. I would probably recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a taste and give their own...

I wish i could give 0 stars. Bad food. Horrible service. Way too expensive. DON’T waste your time here. The big lady with glasses at the cash register acts like you’re an inconvenience to her. She made a Thai tea 90% milk. It was DISGUSTING and over priced, i’m not joking when i say it was the worst thai tea I ever had in my life. I ordered spicy miso and a salad. The food looks and tastes like it comes premade from a frozen bag. If you’re not going to have good food, then at least have good service, pick a struggle.
