Burger King — Restaurant in West Des Moines

Management was rude, service was poor, and the food 🤮. BEWARE.... If you pay with a debit or credit card make sure if you need your food refunded for any reason make sure that the receipt they give you says refund and not duplicate. I believe the manager is doing some funny business. We asked for a refund he handed us a receipt that said duplicate at the bottom and read the exact time as the original receipt so we checked our card and well... No money. He then adv us to wait 24 hrs that turned into 48 and then 72. When I went back he was extremely rude and told me to come back to talk to the GM in which reluctantly gave us our money back. The hourly staff that was there at that time was phenomenal, they even offered us drinks...

Horrific service. I went through the drive through because I was short on time. Six cars were in front of me. It took 25 minutes to get to the ordering position. Another ten to get to the window. The cost was wrong, they corrected it. One coke and a whopper with cheese and fries were what I ordered. After five minutes I got my order. As I drove off I grabbed a fry from the bag and immediately realized the sandwich was the wrong shape. In the bag were one fry and four chicken sandwiches. Not what I ordered. I stopped, parked, and went inside. They corrected the order, I checked. When I got to my destination, very late, I bit into the sandwich and discovered the hamburger was almost raw. No lunch today. ...

Pretty stringent on the rules. Make sure to read your coupon before going. One of those rules is to announce your coupon before ordering. They also are wishy washy on taking the coupons, because sometimes they will say not to give them the coupon because of Covid, but then they demand the coupon other times. I'm sorry I had to rip it out of the sheet because you all of a sudden changed your policy or mind. Also, if they say it is a free whopper from the review, it isn't. It says it is supposed to be a free whopper with purchase of small fries and drink, but they charge you 4.48 for that small fries and drink, which is more than the actual price of those two items combined. Don't be fooled...
