Stopped in at 4:45 on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Wanted to order an 8 piece meal, with half extra crispy and half Georgia Gold. Wasn't sure if they would split it, but the very nice lady at the register checked and one of the other employees came over to show her how to ring it up. Sadly, the "other employee" was a sour, unpleasant woman who totally ignored the young lady at the register when she thanked her for her help.
Fast forward, I take my order to the car and quickly wondered how they created a half/half order in one container with Georgia Gold on only part of it. I set the order on the front seat, opened the lid and felt like all of the pieces of chicken had received the spicy sauce. I went back into the store and asked if the order was correct. They all looked the same to me.
The nice lady at the register took the platter and turned to the teenage girl who had prepared the order and told her she though it was incorrect. The sour, older lady approached, took the lid off and proceeded to "educate me" on the difference between Georgia Gold and extra crispy, saying the Georgia Gold was orange. I said, "fine, I'll take your word for it", and as I was turning to leave, heard the teenage girl say to the cashier " now just leave me alone!"
As I suspected, when I got home, I found that even though the Georgia Gold had not been applied to half of the chicken, the excess sauce had drained to the bottom of the platter, soaking all of the chicken pieces. I had to separate the pieces, placing the extra crispy ones on a paper towel in hopes that the sauce would drain enough to make them edible.
I would not return to this location, EVER! The two staff members that I encountered were bitter, rude, hostile people who sadly, probably make the cashier's life awful given what a nice personality she had. In addition, it is beyond belief that someone doesn't realize that you cannot mix these two types of chicken in the same container! Read moreParking lot had numerous articles of trash free flowing in it. Building appeared clean, will maintained and free of noticeable deferred unaddressed maintenance issues. Found lobby clean upon entry. Numerous tables were vacant and dirty, in obvious need of staff attention. Ordering was straight forward. I found the staff helpful but lacking any interpersonal skills. I never truly felt welcomed and I certainly never felt valued. I found my food acceptable but lacking in the wow department. The chicken is smaller and noticeably containing more fat. KFC is crossing the price point we're it's almost not worth what they're asking. Increased pricing, aggressive portion control and diminished quality make up the golden trifecta of losing my future business. Manager told me they were dropped and did not know why they weren't on my chicken little. It was a chicken patty cut in half, not the same at all... No pickles, barely any sauce.. My extra sauces that I asked for were not in the bag either. Called for a full refund on my meal. Only would replace the chicken littles. Sorry, but now I can't get food before work and one thing messed up to me makes my whole order wrong. I asked for a refund of $18.00 and send it to me in the mail.
