I met a friend for lunch at Hot Off the Presses and we weren't disappointed. The owner was working the FOH and was welcoming from the time I opened the door. There are ~10 tables to choose from & tables could easily be moved around to accommodate more people. You order at the counter, then the food was brought out to us. I ordered a dipper (cup) of the Tomato Basil Bisque and the Hot Hammin' sandwich. The soup was served piping hot and was delicious and creamy - I'd order a bowl next time, it was that good. The sandwich was piled high with delicious meaty cheese and good ham. The Ken's Honey Mustard was a great addition to this classic sandwich. My friend ordered the Caprese sandwich and said it was great; the cheese was so meaty and oozy. They offer a few dessert options from a local baker (shout out to Jess Desserts) which looked good, but I didn't try any. While we were dining, I noticed that the owner was wiping & cleaning tables when other diners left. When we were getting ready to leave, we had a great conversation with the owner. He was funny & engaging - he also made some great restaurant recommendations for an upcoming trip I'm going on (shout out to Saint Pasta in PHX). I had a difficult time deciding which sandwich to order, so more trips to Hot Off the Presses are in my future. The food was great. The owner was great. The atmosphere was great. A true 5* experience.

Amazing food, amazing service! Everything you love about the food truck but without tracking them across the city! 10/10 recommend The Journal (pictured) and the Prensa Libre. So delicious! Jed and team have done it again and I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu!

Started with the food truck and will now be loyal to the brick and mortar store!! Amazing food, great staff. Food was made quick and was delicious, as it always is! Just look at that cheese pull, come on now!! I got the Fancy and a dipper of the Tomato Basil.

GRILL CHEESE SAMMICH! I have been here 3 times now. Each time, better than the previous. HOTP has set a very high bar, and they deliver. Very high quality cheese and, of course, meats! Generous portions. Always hot and fresh. The cheese pull is so good you'll think is fake... its not. It's awesome, like 24 inches!

I'm totally hooked on the "Hot Hammin", an incredible take on the classic Hot Ham & Cheese. Want your mind blown? Add bacon.

Service is quick, everything is made to order. Parking and Seating is good. Bathrooms, spotless.

This is a gourmet quality grilled cheese sandwich joint, at...

I had lunch with a friend yesterday and we had a great time talking with Jed! It was hard to decide what I wanted but I ended up with a Caprese grilled cheese and tomato basil soup. I got the "dipper" size of soup not the expecting such a good portion! Sooooo good. Thicker soup with just the right amount of seasonings. The sandwich was divine! So cheesy and yummy! This is the kinda grilled cheese that you crave! I want to try all of them! Next time the OG with bacon I think. Oh, and the bread bowls (only on Friday and Saturday)...
