As a bar, this spot is first rate. Comprehensive selection of drinks and real cocktails. Nice selection of bourbon and scotch. As others have mentioned, it's a little pricey, but not terrible. The venue is lovely, and we really appreciated the live music. Our server was friendly and attentive. They do not serve food as such. You can get a little tray of pub mix for a few bucks (the kind of stuff bars used to give away free.) Or they have a meat and cheese thing in a plastic grocery store container. It's good stuff, but at $17, I'd prefer they put it on a platter of some sort. It was served with the $12 price tag from the store still on the lid. So 5 stars for drinks and ambience, 3 stars for the weak attempt at food. Will be back, but would love to see them step up their game.

Stopped in briefly because we've been wanting to check out this place and it didn't disappoint. Great low key atmosphere where you can actually carry on a conversation with folks and the bartenders were great! Wasn't on the menu but I asked if they could make an espresso martini. I tend to prefer mine with less cream, bit this was still very good for being an impromptu request. Update; Been here many times, always with the trip. Bartenders are great and extremely personable and sociable. Favorite drink on the menu is definitely The Dude Abides, a fairly traditional take on a white Russian, but the coffee ice cube is the unique add. A touch of nutmeg helps enhance the flavor.

Winchester Public House has a very unique atmosphere and fantastic selection of bourbons, whiskeys and bavarian beers. Specialty cocktails are unmatched in the metro...but they can cost $16 a pop. Totally worth it though. No food or snack options available which google review photos may show, they might sell pub pretzels. Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders who know their stuff!. Clean bathrooms.

Edited my first review. First time we enjoyed the cocktails and place but nothing blew us away then. Second time we literally spent hours here - the bartender led us on a cocktail journey! And a great sazerac which is super rare. Fantastic! And every time since then has been fantastic. Some of the best cocktails and people in the city!

Such an incredible night cap at The Winchester Pub! Ben is incredibly genuine + knowledgeable about everything this public house offers. The selection is impeccable and the atmosphere has such a mountainous cabin feel. The whiskey selection Ben lined up for us was divine- zoom in to see his selections. Highly recommend!

Love the Winchester. Been here several times in the last year since we moved to the area. They have TRUE mixologists and a drink list to die for. The beer list is impeccable. They made the part of the bar that holds all the booze bottles. Have them tell you about it. We will return again and again.
