Update:: second review and probably wont be back. I want to say the people who own this place are very nice but you need to pay more attention to your employees. I brought my father here for the first time and had a very bad experience, i felt embarrassed that I told me father this was such a great place. Our waiter was very slow and kept disappearing. Several times I had to ask for assistance from other staff and instead of helping us they just kept getting the waiter and making it take even longer. He forgot things I had ordered, one time they brought out a appetizer without the sauce and after asking 3 different staff for it, by the time it came the food was cold. The miso soup I was given was also cold, sushi was falling apart and my father looked around and said its not busy, why is everything taken so long. The worst part was as were were leaving my son spoted something on the floor which I will not say as I do not want to ruin anyones business but what he found made me for sure not want to come back. I would highly encourage better wait staff and to make sure your floor is clean, and hope what my son found is not in the food. Definitely upset about the money I spent.
First review:Overly Amazing, I can not believe the price for the quality of the food you can get here. The food was top notch, extremely delicious and you can get so much for the price! Everything was cook or made to order and super fresh and the staff made us feel like family. I will be coming here regularly! We ordered sushi and appetizers and the presentation of each dish was made delightful and beautiful to see and eat! 100...
Read moreCame in as a party of 6 with sashimi option.
Food started out fairly decent despite very small sashimi menu. Squid started out ok with sushi but was pretty fishy as sashimi. Nothing special to note from menu. Still a pretty small menu all together. Also, don’t order desert. It’s terrible. Ice cream was melted and refrozen. Cheesecake barely had a thin layer of cheese on top of cake. I’ve see hamburger cheese slices that were thicker.
Service was pretty terrible. Is it because we’re a party of 6 so tips are automatic? Whichever the case, it was as though we’re begging to get fed. Did not disclose that plates would be served together and be shared. That’s fine but then there’s all sorts of restrictions as to how much we can order at one time. How on earth does a party of 6 people eats 8 pieces of sashimi at a time? When I asked, I was told to “just order more later”. Does sashimi fall from the sky instantly onto our plates? No, it takes a good 10 minutes with each order. I’d assumed longer if they were more busy. I understand you don’t want to waste food but how are you expecting 6 people to dine on 15 pieces of sushi and 8 pieces of sashimi at a time? Don’t make it AYCE if you don’t want your customers to eat. Literally felt like I had to beg for food the whole time. I know the tactic. You eat some, you wait some. Get full from the waiting. I get it. Almost forgot, constantly get our orders wrong as well.
Positive note, decorations were nice but I...
Read moreWe’re not from the area, but we are SO glad we found Sushi Ohayo3 AYCE while visiting! This place completely blew us away.
The appetizers set the tone—crispy gyoza, golden takoyaki, fresh cucumber salad, and perfectly steamed edamame. Everything came out quickly and was full of flavor.
Then the sushi… wow. The presentation was stunning (yes, they served ours on a full sushi boat!) and every roll was unique and fresh. From spicy mayo drizzled rolls to avocado-topped creations and melt-in-your-mouth nigiri, it was an endless variety of deliciousness. You can tell they put a lot of care into both the flavors and the presentation.
The staff was also wonderful—friendly, fast, and so welcoming. The sweetest touch was at the very end: the lady gave my daughter a Japanese soda on our way out, which absolutely made her night. Little gestures like that make the experience even more memorable.
If you’re in town and love sushi, this spot is a MUST. Fresh, fun, and filling—Sushi Ohayo3 is the kind of place you’ll rave about long after...
