I'll start with the highlights. My nephew said he loved his chicken sandwhich. I loved my rum drink.

I sent a personal message to smoke and iron about the following information. (Never heard back)

I ordered my steak medium well. The waiter said "okay like a hockey puck" 😒 It showed up raw. My husband who will eat a rare steak said he wouldn't even eat it. I asked for it to be cooked longer, it took so long to come back out that everyone else was done eating so I asked the waiter to please put it in a to go box. You could tell our waiter was visibly annoyed. I got home put my kid to bed and finally sat down to eat. Guess what still RAW!

My kids mac n cheese taste like metal none of us could eat it.

But the worst part was our waiter was a snake! He mentioned automatic gratuity was on the bill, that's no problem at all, we always tip 20% which is the normal amount added for automatic gratuity. However he never showed either groups the bill just handed us the device to slide our cards. When he said the amount to my sister I could tell she was over charged. So when it came to my turn I select "text my reciept". I never recieved my reciept. When I added up how much our bill should have been vs. how much we paid I figured out our waiter had to have given himself at least 30% gratuity if not more.

Again I want to mention these issues were sent in a private message first to give them the chance to discuss before I made a public post but they...

I am never the type to write a review but wow… WHAT. AN. AMAZING. PLACE. It’s been awhile since Fargo finally brought in a good restaurant! My family and I went yesterday after being curious and seeing it and thought we might try it.The environment was clean, ambience was just so perfect, I really liked the fact there was only one TV in the bar and not all over the place, service was so friendly and welcoming, it highlighted its core values for us coming to a new restaurant. I had ordered the Croque Madame and it was so delish! The sourdough was fresh, the béchamel tasted fresh off the stove and it was very filling. Another thing I had noticed with all of our dishes is how intentional they were with plating, it really shows a lot to a customer when we see their plate come out all fancy! Especially for the prices we paid for all, depending on what you had gotten it averaged $15-$18 with the occasional really expensive things but every restaurant has those. We ended the meal with some dessert and we had ordered the cheesecake and torte. Both were sooooo AMAZING and plated BEAUTIFULLY!!! Will definitely be going back again and even have recommended it to a few...

First time patron. Greeted at the door as the first customers of the day. They open at 3pm and we were waiting at the door. Seated promptly on the patio as we requested. We checked the patio out first as it was a little breezy but the patio was sheltered and very comfortable. Server explained that this was about the fourth week since opening. She also was quite knowledgeable about the food choices and gave her opinion when we asked. It appears that she has at least tasted most of the menu items. The four of us chose from the menu and none of us were disappointed. She had described the chili mango chicken on a bed of mashed potatoes with asparagus spears as having a bit of a bite with a smooth mango sweetness. Describes it beautifully. One of my table mates ordered the flatbread and loved it. Only a small suggestion would be to slice it a bit or provide a sharp knife as it was a little difficult to slice with the butter knife. The crosaint chicken salad was perfection. The salad as you can see from the picture was presented well as were all the entrees. So nice to have a newer upscale but also relaxing restaurant in the west fargo...

Visited for an impromptu date night. Always a pleasure to be greeted by Ramon's signature smile and welcome. We were seated quickly and our server, Hunter was quick to visit our table with waters and get our drink orders. We decided to try the gouda beer cheese soup as a starter. It was creamy and delicious, loved the addition of the popcorn! We each ordered a different entree so we could try two. I had the Grilled Tenderloin with garlic potatoes and smoked asparagus. Steak was served medium rare and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. My husband had the Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese with cherry wood bacon. He added the grilled chicken as an extra protein. The portion sizes were generous and the meals were awesome and the pricing was on par with what i would expect at any steakhouse in Fargo. There were plenty of other items we were interested in trying, but we're far too full to try, so we will definitely return for future visits. Give this local business a try!
