This is the WORST place to rent from they have horrible horrible fruit fly problems and never once took care of it they said they would send an exterminator which was their response everytime but the problem never got fixed. When we would cook they would get in our food it was so bad to the fact that we couldn’t even eat or stay in our unti a weeks sometimes. Also upon moving out they charge you a lot so you do not get all of your deposit back. I am a very clean person and I overly cleaned my until making sure it was perfect for the next renter and they charged me a ridiculous cleaning fee for paper towel residue being on the cabinets from cleaning them which I couldnt even see. The property manager literally swiped with her fingers and like oh some paper towel residue like are you crazy??? It was spotless. Let alone don’t hang anything on the walls I asked prior and they said of course and for most stuff used command strips and guess what they charged me a crazy fee for patching holes. Also parking sucks, it stinks when people cook food, and they lacked taking care of things right away. So moral of the story DO NOT rent unless you want to deal with fruit fly problems and don’t care to get your deposit back. I wouldn’t be so mad if I wasn’t screwed over upon moving out. Also don’t be fooled all the 5 star reviews (such as Makenzie & Rachel) work for the company trying to up...
Read moreLiving here at Northern Lights has been a great experience from the very beginning. The location is safe, convenient, and quiet, which makes daily errands and commuting simple while still offering peace of mind. The apartments are clean, modern, and comfortable, with enough space to feel like home.
Mackenzie, the apartment manager, along with Jenna Lee, my leasing agent, made the moving process smooth and stress free. The staff continues to be professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to resident satisfaction. They also ensure safety throughout the property and monitor the cameras well, which creates a secure and welcoming environment.
The neighbors in the building have also been wonderful. People are friendly and respectful, often keeping to themselves but always willing to lend a hand or share advice, which has been especially helpful as someone new to the area. That sense of community adds to the comfort of living here.
Prairie Management is overall an excellent company to work with. Their professionalism and care are clear in the way the property is maintained and in the way residents are treated.
Overall, I could not be happier with my choice to live in this complex. It is well managed, safe, and filled with kind people. I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible living experience. First off, they will absolutely do nothing about noise complaints. We complained about our upstairs neighbor several times, and they did nothing, and even told us that they were going to do nothing because they were worried about a bad review. Second, the rent is absurd for quality of the apartment. You are paying for amenities, so if you don't use them on a regular basis, you are losing a grand every month. Third, the check out/cleaning list is absolutely ridiculous. They have such an extensive list that it makes me think that they're not going to hire a professional cleaning company to clean after the tenants move out. Fourth, and to their credit, this isn't their fault, but the intersection of 32nd Ave and Sheyenne is the worst. All throughout the day and night, people will rev their engines at the light and some are so loud that they shake the building. And thats not even counting the fire station next door. I would rather live in my car than ever live in this...
