I grew up eating Greek style pizza at Terryville Pizza and Bristol Pizza. Since moving to the West Hartford area there are a lot more options in pizza style. You have Pepe's for a mediocre New Haven Style (Pepe's in New Haven is still great), Angelina's for a Jersey Shore boardwalk slice, and Naples in Farmington for a New York type pie.

Dino's is by far the best Greek style spot around. Unlike other Greek spots, Dino's bottom crust doesn't get compressed and thin like the others do. It stays semi thick and substantial. The toppings are good too, they don't skimp on the quality of them. You can taste that they haven't cheaped out on their mozz like other places.

As much as I have a pizza addiction, I equally love a good meatball. And they by far have the best meatball in the area. The side of meatballs with the mozz and parm is amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to grab those and go home and make some pasta to have with them.

The hospitality is great. The owners are in there working every day, and no matter how busy they are or how hot it is in the kitchen, they take a moment to say hi and get to know you. Even better if you sit down instead of take out.

Last, the prices are still reasonable. Prices have gone up everywhere, but Dino's has found a perfect balance of quality, quantity, and price compared to everyone else.

If you're in the area, stop in. You won't be...

This used to be my go-to pizza place. I had nothing but good experiences until today. I called in my usual and was told 25 minutes with no total I waited an extra half hour with a smile on my face because I understood they were busy. When I ask for a total over the phone it’s usually an attitude, so this time I thought I would just wait till I arrived to make it easier. My food was finally done I went up and asked for a total I called my husband with a phone call time of 16 seconds so he could transfer me the total to pay with Apple Pay. I hung up and said I would like to pay with Apple Pay. Before I even finished the old woman there cut me off saying “Are you ready or you gonna sit there on the phone” in the most condescending tone ever. I stood in shock and said “excuse me are you serious” she said “I’m sitting here waiting for you” like I didn’t just wait an hour for my pizza. I said “I understand but I needed to get the money quick mind you I wasn’t even on the phone 30 seconds” this old woman proceeds to scream and cause a scene and make me come out of character. I told her before I left “I will not comeback and you and your attitude will be the downfall of this restaurant” there was so much more I left out but, Maybe if your old and irritable..it’s time to...

Everybody knows about this place it's a staple in my community they have big slices for good prices their slices of pepperonis covered end-to-end & the slices are big almost the size of a small pizza the family are of true Italians lineage which is a plus and they're good people it's conveniently located around other great places it's a nice place to stop while you on your way to shop or on your way back home you can grab something before you go to the movies theater which is right next door or you can grab something after you leave the movie theater which is again right next door I have fun times over here like washing my car or buying parts for my car, shopping for groceries loading up for gas, car shopping, getting my car repaired, shopping for clothing, trying new food, when it comes to trying new food sometimes in between waits I going to grab a slice from this place, of the food is terrible or not satisfying from any new place I tried I always can stop at this place and grab something I know I'll like so stop by and try them out because I know you'll...

This review is long overdue. I first fell in love with Dino’s Pizza while studying in college a friend told me about it. As soon as I had my first bite I was hooked it reminded me of back in the day Pizza Hut when it wasn’t a regular chain company. After that I continued going here for pizza even when I became a mom it was my go to place for my husband, kids and I to eat a pie. The owner son is the sweetest guy and was always kind to me and my family whenever we went in. My kids are teenagers now and we still order from here. It’s the taste that makes the difference it says so right on their sign when you go to pay! And that couldn’t be more true. Pizza and family go a long way especially if it’s made with love! I don’t know about you but Tonight is a Dino’s Night! God Bless! Order Up!!!

It's always such a feeding frenzy when I come here to Dino's Pizza/ Grinder shop. I've never been in here when it's not hustling and bustling with the tables full and the pizza chefs constantly moving in the kitchen.. I love their grinders the most but this time I went and got a small pizza with sausage and onions. About 15 minutes later it came out piping hot and chock-full of ingredients. My first slice was oozing with cheese and sauce and by the time I got to the last slice, I knew I had the best pizza in town. Family-owned this purely bonafide pizza shop is the best in this part of Hartford. Just north of Flatbush Avenue on new park Ave, you can't miss it. Pull on into Dino's and have the pizza of your life.
