This is an up-and-coming business selling Middle Eastern Street food. Happened to come across it after seeing their food truck outside. They only do take-outs and deliveries and are in the process of establishing their kitchen.

The owner and staff are very friendly and provided us with great service whilst chatting about their new establishment.

They have a lot of vegan options (hummus, falafel, tabouleh etc) and sandwiches/shawarmas. Whilst waiting for our order, we got to try some of their falafel (complimentary!) which was really delicious and crisp to the touch. The tahini sauce accompaniment was okay, I personally felt the Tahini flavor was a little too overwhelming and may require other flavors/sauces to bring it more into balance.

To go, we got the Beef (steak) shawarma. This came in a paper box (which I really appreciated, rather than a foam/plastic container). The shawarma was pre-made and then toasted as they are still in the process of setting up their full kitchen. I'm a huge shawarma fan and it is almost always my go-to item when I'm at a Middle Eastern place. I'd have to say their steak shawarma wasn't quite what I hoped but does have the makings of a great shawarma. The beef has good seasoning but could use with some more, and although there were little bits of pickled vegetables in the shawarma, it gets drowned in all the meat. The shawarma was pre-made, and because it was heated up on one of those sandwich toasters, it really flattens out the wrap when technically it should be full and juicy.

Prices are very reasonable for take-outs and delivery.

Would I go back? Yes. I'd like to give their shawarmas another go and see how they come along as they...

Had previously ordered numerous times but will no longer be a customer due to bad business practices and customer service. I ordered the chicken and rice family meal and the order wasn't made properly due to them running out of ingredients. They knew that they did not have the necessary portions to fulfill my call in order but took my money anyway. Once I got home and called them to let them know that there was a mistake they said that they knew about the chicken not being properly dressed with onions and seasoning (there was none on my order at all). They ran out so they gave me an extra garlic sauce that I didn’t ask for. When I asked how they would make the situation right considering I asked for extra onions and seasoning when I called in the order, they said that they would not do anything and hung up.

Additionally the chicken had an odd taste and texture so we threw it out. They showed that they have no customer loyalty and lacked integrity intentionally misleading me, then refusing to fix the order. The food did not...

If there were a way for me to rate Grilled Chicken and Rice 3.5 stars I would. I should say that the food is really good, they give you a ton for what you pay for. The Grilled Chicken for 4 actually does feed four people and it’s super tasty. Their garlic sauce is quite good as well as their hummus.

The reason why I would only rate it 3.5 stars is that I’ve been there twice and have had a long wait time both instances. The first was far more forgivable, since we didn’t order ahead and placed our order in house. The second time was particularly frustrating, I placed an online order over an hour before we arrived. I expected to pick it up and head home. However, the food was not ready when we arrived and it took them 45 minutes to make the food we had ordered. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, but they need to get their order system down.

I will probably go back, but I will be very wary of how long it will take for my food to be ready. Bottom line, good food and prices, but you might be waiting a lot longer...

As you might expect from the name, the place has great grilled chicken and rice for a fair price. Some problems though: 1. They don’t have water cups, so you’re going to have to bring your own water or buy a drink if you’re eating there. 2. The takeout bags don’t have handles on them so you might not be able to bike back with them 3. Their menu is reduced. The image attached is their current menu. So many of the images you find on here will not be available. But these are all nitpicks, they shouldn’t really affect anyone’s experience with the great food. Haven’t tried the other stuff but I’ll definitely be coming back for them! Edit: they actually do have handled takeout bags! You just have to ask for them. I noticed that their offers other than the appetizers don’t really have a lot of or any vegetables on them. If some tabbouleh or baba ghanoush is put on the sides of the rice entrees or sandwiches (instead of chips) it would be much healthier. Sandwiches are tasty but are not as tasty as the rice options.

This tiny place is so underrated. Even a 4.7 total score it had when I wrote this was a lower score compared to its food quality. The rice itself is one of the most aromatic flavorful rices you can have. I tried grilled chicken and it is the real deal. Obviously how grilled chicken must be and tastes 100 times better than fried chicken. I cannot say how shocked I was that this place is not expanding, but very great food. For takeout it is awesome since the service is quick. For dine in it is still fine since there are some seats and tables but this place deserves to be heard much more.
