The chappie Chai was the worst coffee shop beverage I have ever tried. Extremely bitter yet bland, texture thin and watery yet also like low quality protein powder grainy, I couldn't believe I didn't take it back. I think after four years of excellent beverages here it has taken a while to face the facts with inconsistent experimental specialities. The price gouging has also become difficult. Tiny right ounce servings at regular full sixteen ounces prices ruins the forward thinking espresso vibes. Alongside with the remodel that ruined the cool couch nook, less space here, free parking is nice, location right down from the airport is neat, but sadly there are much better options that haven't pumped up prices and leaked out extra for it. I highly recommend Sacred Grounds, Eleventh House, and Wanderlust where quality, value, and consistently are prime. Try Seven Brew for serious value and efficiency, Java House for cold brew, and Vienna for an eclectic low budget massive menu sprawling variety of a spot.

Easily the strongest coffee program in Lafayette, in terms of bean selection (including a fun co-ferment?!), drinks, barista training, and equipment. Visited multiple times over the course of a week and they nailed the drinks and the service every time. Beans are roasted in Carmel, IN and are done fully in-house. They are neither private labelling nor do they roast via bellwether. Cortados and pourovers were on point and served in real glassware, rather than just to-go cups. I wish the Colombia pourover had more extraction, but the other pourovers were still prepared well. The shop does not feel like a library, despite being study/work friendly. You can have conversations without it being awkward. Modern third-wave shop vibes. The location on Google Maps takes you to the rear of the shop, as a heads up. There’s ample parking in the rear lot.

Loved my drink! I got the lavender haze; one of their specialty drinks. It was so delicious and perfectly sweet with lavender and white mocha. There are lots of tables and seating areas in the large space. The employees are so friendly and will bring your drinks and food to you after you’ve ordered. Also as a dachshund owner I love that their logo is a dachshund. They definitely won me over from that alone! There’s also a parking lot in the back, as well as street parking in the front which is convenient.
