I walked in today with a friend and my 2 service dogs. I stayed by the door, and I proceeded to tell the manager that I had two service dogs and I wouldn't like to dine in. The manager started telling me that if I had service dog cards for the dogs, I politely tried to explain federal and state Ada law. And show her on ada.gov the law she told us to sit in a particular table, which I was fine with, even though the law states that you can't do that. I ordered 2 coffees in the water. Just to make the visit short while we were drinking our coffee. They had called the cops 2 police officers. Walked in from West Miami. One officer was somewhat polite. The other officer walked in with threats, saying I could be trespassed not because of the dogs but because they were called mind you. They are real service dogs. The dogs never moved an inch. I didn't even pay attention. To the police officers or anyone else they were doing what they were trained to do, pay attention to me and me only long story short. They were saying it's a private business that the business has refusal, the right to refusal, and so forth. I tried to explain if they're open to the public. And my dogs are not being a nuisance. I had every civil right to be there. They gave every excuse in the book. The last thing I told them was just think about this, if I was born blind and I had a service dog to guide me would you still deny service or tell me to leave? And trespass me. Again, they said it was a civil matter that their hands were tied that I needed to leave the business before I got trespassed. I already had paid the bill before. They came to tell me all this at the end, they told me to reach out to the owner and educate him on federal law versus The 2 police officers did there at the moment, which was a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation, should have handled it there. The excuse for the manager was if there was somebody that was scared of the dogs...

My boyfriend and I decided to eat here because we googled them and saw they sold Jalisco style tacos which he’s been craving forever now, so we drove from Kendall to be told they wouldn’t be available for another hour. We still decided to order two things off the menu to share. The lady who helped us ask for our drinks and never returned with the two water we ordered but instead helped the family of four who sat after us outside after the fact of taking our drink order. A young man came up to us at that point and asked if he can get us started with drink which we told him we ordered two waters and were ready to order, he let us know he’d get us the water and someone will be with us to take the order. The same lady who took our drink order came back to take our food order. Almost an hour later and at this point my boyfriend and I are very hungry and frustrated, I’m a server and tend to be very understanding especially when I can see places are busy and tend to notice a lot of things some don’t like how the lady who took our order and the family of four outsides order forgot half the families order and had to send the other young man to ask what was part of their order. Still waiting for our food now an hour later and seeing how frustrated my boyfriend was I decided to let him know that if the family of four which I could imagine order was way more complex then two people sharing two plates order came out before our we would just leave. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened which to me didn’t make any sense as to how someone who sat and ordered after us could get their food before two people compared to a family of four. We won’t be coming back here needless to say. A little advice if you’re going to be open on a national holiday make sure you schedule an appropriate...

WE WOKE UP WITH FOOD POISONING THE NEXT DAY - AVOID ORDERING TAKE OUT !!!!!!!!!!

We stopped at No Maches, expecting a hidden gem based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the complete opposite. From the start, the bar area had a weird musty smell. Ordering was easy enough, but we weren’t told the total or given an estimated wait time until we had to track down our server to get any information. Even then, we weren’t charged until the food finally arrived.

We ordered four items totaling $89. Although we wouldn’t mind paying if the food was good, it was far from it. We requested lettuce and guac for our burrito but weren’t informed of the $2 charge for lettuce and the $4 charge for guac. Even worse, they forgot the lettuce entirely, and the guac was barely a spoonful. To top it off, the burrito was mainly rice and the chicken in the burrito wasn’t fully cooked. We also ordered nachos with chicken but were served red meat instead ( ALSO NOT FULLY COOKED ). Lastly, we got a mangonada, which cost $10 for just barley a 6oz cup. The only decent item we had was the esquite, which would be hard to mess up anyway.

For such inflated prices, we felt robbed. I highly recommend checking your food thoroughly if you choose to eat here. I don’t know if it’s their takeout quality control that’s lacking, but at this price, the quality just isn’t there. Next time, I’d gladly go to Taco Rico or a local taco truck, knowing I’ll get properly cooked food for...

Small place delivers on Mexican food. When we went they were undergoing an expansion so it’s not as crowded. Good for them! Located inside a small strip mall, parking can be a challenge but well worth it, once you step inside and try their food. We had a mangonada, which comes with or without alcohol. Think mango juice but not watery and with chunks of mango inside. It came with a frozen watermelon piece of candy. We also had guacamole and chips, esquite (corn, mayo, queso, and chile, all inside a plastic drinking cup), and an elote loco (corn on the cob with mayo and hot cheetos). Everything was fresh and the guac, although it had tomatoes (I don’t care for tomatoes in my guac), was very tasty and felt like a home cooked meal. For main meals, we had a three taco combo (chorizo, chicken and carne asada), tacos al pastor and quesatacos barbacoa (birria tacos). These came with a beef consommé in which you dipped the tacos. For dessert with had churros with Nutella. Can’t go wrong with churros or Nutella. Service was friendly and prompt.

Me and my family used to say the birria tacos were the best in Miami and you couldn’t beat them for the price. Unfortunately I have to make this review because nobody else is bringing it to attention. Customer of over 2 years btw. I’ve realized over the last few months the quality has changed. For whatever reason it looks like one of the chefs likes to make birria tacos with just 2 tortillas plain no cheese in the middle. What is the point of the 2nd tortilla? I used to say with confidence these were the best in town and would recommend everyone. That has changed. It seems like it’s honestly a laziness issue where the chef doesn’t want to take the extra step. It’s ruined the traditional birria tacos they used to have. Would be a 5 star review all around if it wasn’t for this. And if you’ve made it this far don’t let it scare u away, I still say for the price of what u get it’s still worth it, extremely loaded with good meat. Just don’t expect to always get the traditional birria they used to serve.
