I'm usually a big fan of Eskamoes. My son and I come here at least 2 to 3 times a week. I have introduced my family and clients to Eskamoes. However, this evening I placed an order for my son and myself. I ordered a small cone twister for myself, and a small twister in a cup for my son. I waited for the clerk to return to the window. I gave my son his cup of custard and the lady gave me a cup of custard as well. I asked where my cone was and she precedes to tell me, oh we are out of cake cones. So, I'm wondering why, as someone that is supposed to be delivering good customer service, why didn't she tell me while taking my order, that they were out of cones and would u like a different type cone or something else. I have never had a problem with them until this evening. They weren't really busy, and they had the chance to say, I'm sorry ma'am, but we are out of cones, is there something else I can get for you! Nope, I was served a small cup of custard, which she could see that I was disappointed and not happy. She just wanted me to take what she made and have me move out of the way! So...

After renowned New Orleans chef Warren LeRuth closed his namesake restaurant, he opened Chelsey's, a sort-of-fast-food burger & frozen custard stand named for his granddaughter that was years ahead of its time.
And oh yes, the custard was what you'd expect a culinary genius to serve. So were the burgers. So was everything on the expansive menu.
