Chuchilandia — Restaurant in West New York

Since we've been in the area, this location has had 3 other businesses here. Hoping Chuchi does better than the others before it. They offer a moderate variety of foods. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, avocado toast, crepes, empanadas, hot dogs, sandwiches, smoothies,, teas, coffee and ice cream. My son loves getting ice cream from here.

Myself and others dislike the lack of avocado slices in the avocado toast. The avocado mush, not quite guacamole is disappointing when you are expecting slices of avocado. On the flip side,the abundance of arugula kind of covers up the lack of avocado. And it is tasty.

The woman who works there isn't the friendliest. Could be a language communication barrier...

I've been waiting for this spot to open and I'm so happy it became this beautiful place! I walked in this morning to explore and didn't realize how big the space was (only got a picture of the front, but lots of seating!) It was decorated so cute and it looked like the two employees were getting everything set up.

I had already eaten, but took a couple Carne empanadas and some lemon pie to go (with promises to be back!) All the food was delicious and my partner and I look forward to having this great new place in the neighborhood!

Crepes! Smoothies! Ice cream! Empanadas!? Summer's right around the corner, and this place is gonna do great!

Not sure what kind of food is being offered. It's south or central American. Had a salad and it was ok. Nothing special. The chicken was seasoned wit but not sure with what. The juice was fairly good and natural. It was beets and orange juice. Saw that the main seller in here is the ice cream and looks like they give really huge scoops and the customers were excited and pleased. With summer coming, you need to have the air conditioner on. The heat was stifling in the place and needed to request the door be opened to let in fresh air. Was very hot and sticky and uncomfortable to eat or work. Need to get some things ironed out before I return and try...
