I used to go to this place to eat empanadas and Desayuno Criollo because I like it and they prepared well. But many things just happened. 1. They started to charged 18% like mandatory even for deliveries, I still accepted that until a day the lady who was serving ask to me and my friend to give the tip, even when the service was charged already, her explanation: that's a fee, no the tip... ladrona chica. 2. A different day we Went for breakfast as usual, the place was crowed but we decided to wait for a table. When there was a free table we took it, and in a couple of minutes the waitress (different waitress) Went outside because a friends of her just arrived and she told us to leave the table because it was reserved for that people. I was like...wt...! 3. The last time I Went because my friends convinced me (because I didn't want to go anymore, ever) and I just wait like forever for my dish, everybody ate except me and at the end we had to leave, and when we asked the waitress just said that she was receiving many orders, and she was in a bad mood. At the end she charged us the food and still had to wait until they put it in a box, so I couldn't even eat in the place. A mean, the food is not bad but the service is very deficient, the worse I've seen. All those ladies should receive a proper training in costumer service or should be replaced because is disgusting and disrespectful that you spend your money to be treated like in here. At least teach them...
Read moreUnless you are Venezuelan or Colombian, with the exception of a few hostesses you are dirt. Like, if you dont like people with dirty clothes to come to your establishment at least write a huge fuxking sign up front both English and Spanish for the area is a very diverse one with many people with different dedications. And if you feel that to be quite too uncalled for , at least educate your staff on etiquette and culture. Remember, not everyone is Venezualan, Colombian, and has a clean suit and tie job. The morning blond girl may have her bad moments but she makes an effort to smile and be courteous. The weekend girl is subtle and welcoming. Unfortunately the girl with the glasses working today seems to have a slight sense of entitlement and abhorrent sense of dispisement towards people with dirty clothes. I walked in there to have a meal after a long day of work and was looked down on like I was there to beg or as for free food. How unfortunate that our gentrification process has to be subjected to such I'll treatment. Pense que era un lugar decente que bienivenia a toda Raza sin importar sus ocupaciones pero veo que las ninas prefieron a la gente limpia con ropa limpia. Two...
Read moreThe park ave CROOKS! That’s how we call them. They charge you 15% fee for just ordering with them. In other words, you call or go there to order to go, they charge you an extra 15% of the price of the food. They also charge you extra fee for using your debit card. When I brought up the fees to Kenia (staff at the moment), she said it was inevitable. After all these extra fees, you don’t get the food you order. I ordered a chicken and pernil cachapa. When I got home, I had two ham and cheese cachapa. When I call them and spoke with Selva, she refuses to help and stated that the only way to get it fix is by bringing back the food. So they wanted me, after getting charge all these extra fees that they don’t have an explanation for, to spend time and gas bringing the order...
