I am a retired service member who believes in supporting our local small businesses. Until I come across a business like the Royal Sandwich Co. They have been in business since 1974 and I would assume that they would understand the importance of CUSTOMER SERVICE and LOYALTY! I ordered some clam chowder, an Italian sub with ALL of the fixings, with my wife’s order. We paid with our card to have it delivered. We received a text to tell us that it was delivered. IT WAS NOT! So now we have a situation that the ROYAL SANDWICH CO. should have been more than willing to reimburse us for our cost, right? We called DOOR DASH and Wayne, the driver took my food and my money!! Is this a crime? Should The Royal Sandwich Co. have willingly reimbursed us? Well, we were told by the ROYAL SANDWICH CO. That it was NOT THEIR PROBLEM! REALLY? WHY IS IT NOT? I called it in to your business, you took my money for something that I ordered, It was NOT DELIVERED! DID I RECEIVE WHAT I PAID FOR FROM YOUR BUSINESS? NO! DoorDash will reimburse me, after 3 business days! THE ROYAL SANDWICH CO. claims no responsibility! They may be a good place to buy your sandwiches, if you are able to walk, drive or what ever way you chose to take it out, but what about delivery? My suggestion is, for ROYAL SANDWICH CO to respond with a solution to solving this SERIOUS issue of THEFT! If you want OUR BUSINESS, GUARANTEE US that WE WILL RECEIVE WHAT WE PAID FOR! We should not be told that, “ IT HAPPENS EVERYDAY”!. So why would you partnership with a company that tells me, a valued and loyal customer, that it is a normal practice?? No it’s not!! Read moreI had an order placed today and they took the order wrong. all i wanted was a Parmesan cheese chicken sandwich and was given 2 small pieces of chicken in a soup bowl. I called and asked to speak to a manager and was told the manger was too busy to talk. I don't know what kind of establishment doesn't allow you to speak to the manager when I am a paying customer and not only did I place an order but I had 5 other co-workers place orders as well because they came highly recommended and they messed up on some of those orders as well. I am sadly disappointed in this place. I will not be ordering from this place again and the girl's who answer the phones were not very helpful at all they sound like they didn't care and didn't really want to help and refused to get me a manager. Read moreI’ve lived in West Palm Beach for 5 years and this is my first time ordering a sub from this neighborhood gem on Northshore Dr.
My hubby ordered a 12” BLT sub on whole wheat, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and I ordered a 12” grilled chicken sub on whole wheat. DELICIOUS! Whole wheat sub rolls can be hit or miss, but their sub rolls were some of the best I’ve tasted. The rolls were soft and moist, but held up under the sub ingredients, whether hot or cold. They were even better when reheated. The chicken was nicely seasoned with generous portions. There was just the right amount of onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The only thing I would change is use shredded romaine instead of shredded iceberg.
They have other items on their menu besides subs, which I may try in the future. For now, the grilled chicken...
