Last week sometime, or maybe within the last two weeks, I visited this Taco Bell location. There were no sauces in the lobby like at most other locations and the beverage fountain was not working. I inquire, "Why do certain Taco Bells in locations surrounded by predominantly certain demographics have customer service that is less than?" The employee that was asked responded, "[...because people bring in cups from outside that are dirty and fill them up with beverages without paying...]"
This was understood as a minimization of shrink and sanitation hazards for this location. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Then, there was today... 7/30/2023 On arrival, the lobby is closed. I'm on a bike. A female patron is also ahead of me on a bike. She proceeds through the drive-thru. As do, I. When waiting behind her no one responds on the speaker. After riding to the window which is already open and two employees are observed standing there on their phones, I ask why they have not responded to the patron at the speaker. They reply because they can not serve patrons on bikes in the drive-thru. They were then asked, why did they not inform the female patron. But, I told her instead. We both ended up in the KFC next door which I've already rated with two stars. As we both stand in line trying to decide what to get, she wants to let me order before her and so do I because we both had our minds set on tacos. But, hey YUM, the corporation that owns both Taco Bell and KFC still gets the profit. Such, a position to be in.
There are other fast food locations that have served individuals on "human powered vehicles" which is how statutes in this state define bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and more. Is this vehicle discrimination? Is there even such a thing? Of, course. Vehicle profiling is a better phrase. The lobby was closed because only two people were on the clock during this time is what the response was. And, this location is turning down money. It seems like it's needed to pay employees more. But, then again with some of my experiences at these places I question why raise the hourly rates? Bring on the automation. The other patron on a bike said something akin to, "This is why people quit and they can't keep employees," regarding incidents like these. Too funny. We both just wanted some tacos. Anybody would be displeased when they can't get what they want. Especially, when the reason isn't...
Read moreWent through the drive thru and the cashier who was named Jesus was telling everyone they were not accepting cash payment and telling me to wait on the side of the building which i’m not sure why as I was the first person there. there was no one else. no long line. nothing. I got my receipt at 1pm and waited till 1:27pm for my food order. No one was coming out and there was over 6 cars after me waiting and receiving their drinks. we didn’t even get our drinks. I decided to drive thru the drive thru again to see what the hold up was as I didn’t order much food and was greeted by a dark skinned girl who had a nasty attitude. I told her I had already ordered and was wondering on my status as I was the first and only person when I had arrived. Mind you I asked politely. I’ve worked fast food before so I am aware it can get hectic, she then yelled thru the drive thru telecom that she’s the only person in the store and to drive up as my order was “next”. i’m unsure why I was “next” if when I arrived there was no one waiting ahead of me and I was the first to order. drove up to the window and she handed me my order like if I was inconveniencing her. I asked what her name was and she slammed the drive thru window at me. I had no sauces with my order and my crunch wrap supreme was semi burnt. This Taco bell is brand new and if this is the way this girl is going to talk to people when she is overwhelmed or having some type of day then she doesn’t belong in the store representing your company. she could have handled the situation differently by simply apologizing for the wait and letting me know I could drive up and she would check on my order. There was no need for the attitude. Why are they having customers drive and wait by the building to clutter the small parking area? This just makes no sense to me. It took a lot for me not to go into the store and ask for a manager or record how nasty this girl was being and post the video. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life, OVER A FOOD ORDER!!! taking this to corporate as all reviews are negative and this store is brand new. unacceptable employees...
Read moreThis is the third time I have gone to this Taco Bell and they have gotten the order wrong. It is very disappointing to spend money on food and not be able to eat it on multiple occasions because they can’t get a simple order right. Even when I am very clear and repeat myself to make sure that they understand. This time I went back so that they can correct my order and they kept trying to argue back with me saying they gave me certain items when I never did, trying to make it seem like I was just trying to get free food even though I literally gave them the bag with the wrong order. Which then the person who made the food, tried to argue again that they made the food and they did put all my items in there. I continued to tell them, and show they recipts that I did not get what I ordered. On top of that I was not the only person who had came back because their order got messed up, there was multiple people who came back after me too. This Taco Bell need to do better, especially if someone specifically request something because they can end up getting someone...
