Hook fish and chicken — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

My bad. My mistake. I said the wrong thing and ordered the wrong thing today. And, plus this location was busy earlier. I only returned for a refund because I had somewhere to be and could not wait for the meal to be prepared again

Anyway, here's the review.

I have been coming here since way back. So far back that at the time this was the only Hooks I knew about. I was an early teen maybe even younger. Even when there's a line, don't mind, it's guaranteed to be fresh. Even if there isn't a line, the food will still be fresh. This is my favorite regional fast food restaurant. Fast fried chicken and seafood. It's the seasoning. Taste so good, it'll make you turn around and go back in.

P.S. Thanks Hooks for acknowledging years ago after trying everything on the menu the grouper was my favorite filet. Yet, there was no grouper with five shrimp and fries. Sometimes, I can't eat a grouper and ten shrimp. I used to ask for this and pay the difference to be prepared as such when ordering a number one or number four, simply switch the catfish or tilapia with a grouper, this was years ago because my preference was not on the menu. But, guess what, head in and try that Adventurous Loner meal, grouper, five shrimp and fries, number 34! I bet anybody is turning around and...

I just moved to this location from Lake Worth and I’ve never eaten at hooks before. Let me tell you everything from the wonderful customer service. I mean the women who work there at the front counter whether it be drive-through or walking in great women I have nothing bad to say about them they’re friendly their service is everything it’s beyond the best all the way down to the cooking is phenomenal. I highly recommend this place even my little boy who is autistic and won’t eat barely anything absolutely loves I mean absolutely absolutely adores their chicken liver and catfish meal he will sit down at six years old and eat the whole entire thing and then hold down a banana pudding or a red velvet cake like no tomorrow This restaurant is amazing. I can’t give it enough praise there’s also a man who works at night I’m not sure of his name but he’s taking my order plenty over the phone and in person I learned about them through DoorDash. He’s amazing as well super sweet, friendly staff couldn’t ask for anything better good people good food if I could I’d invite them all over to my house to hang out. I gotta say... I've driven by this place for years... And a few months ago I said "What the hell" and decided to give it a try (there were always cars there and it looked like it has been around for a minute or two)... And Man was I pleasantly surprised... I ordered the Shrimp and Grouper combo and had to try the hush puppies. This S&#T was Fantastic!! For a tiny drive through I was honestly kinda blown away at how tasty the shrimp were and the fish seemed fresh and was awesome. I went back recently for round two (had to make sure it wasn't a fluke😉)... And I decide to go inside and see how things were being done. For a tiny old drive trough restaurant - it was actually really clean inside. I was greeted by a Very Nice lady at the cashbregister and ordered the same... Watched a group of cools prepare LOTS of fresh fish, shrimp and chicken (next time I'm getting the chicken!)... This place STAYS BUSY! And for good reason... Very reasonably priced seafood that tastes delicious! Next time you are driving down Palm Beach Lakes and the hinger big knocks on your door... Answer it with a swing in to the Hook... ...
