HAMBURGER HAVEN — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

Ate here a few years ago. For $4, the burgers were extremely small with only bread, meat and cheese. Enough for a toddler to enjoy. The food was good. Added an extra $4 to the bill. Not honest. Many years ago, Hamburger Haven was a good place to eat. The burgers were large. The chili was so delicious it should've been marketed. Not eating here anymore. It was disappointing. Update: Ate from Hamburger Haven recently on the 14th of March. The burger was small for the price, but fat and enjoyable. Still had a problem with charging the correct price...

I visited this restaurant for the first time today after a friend referred me—and let me just say, there was no letdown! I came specifically for the sweet potato pie and ended up ordering a whole one, plus a double cheeseburger. The owner even gave me the burger on the house since I was a first-time customer. The place is a little hole in the wall and for take-out only. The wait was about 30 minutes. For a burger connoisseur like myself who has tried burgers across this nation and will travel hours to try a recommenced location, I was not impressed when I walked in. However I gave them a chance. It was recommended to me by a friend who is a national food blogger. I grabbed it and went to my vehicle and looked at it. I unwrapped it and took a bite? OMG !!!
