Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in West Sacramento

It was Christmas Day so we decided to go get a burger

The place was pretty empty so there was not a long wait

I remember that the burgers at Carl's Jr's were juicy and tasty

I'm not sure what happened because I ordered a Bacon Western Cheeseburger and the taste and texture was completely different from what I recall a few years back

Instead of barbecue sauce they put what appeared to be catchup with a spicy taste to it

The Onion Rings were not crispy and they looked like they were oven baked not deep fried plus the Onion Ring batter that was used was bland

The meat patty was flavorless and dry

The Western Bacon Cheeseburger was my favorite and I would order it every time I went to Carl's Jr's

I'm wondering if the franchise is under new management or owners now

The establishment was very clean and the customer service was spot on

It's always nice to walk into any establishment and be greeted with a friendly smile

I'm sure that in the future we will visit Carl's Jr's again; however, I will order another hamburger and hope that it's made the same way they were made back in...

I used a coupon that was two famous stars with cheese for $6.. the cashier charged me $7. It was approximately a half-hour later what I noticed I had been overcharged.. I immediately called the store. I was still on the property. The person who answered the phone came up with any number of excuses why why I had not been overcharged. When it was finally determined I had been overcharged, I was told to call back or come back the next day because they could not issue refunds at the drive-thru. I went back the next day and was still unable to get a refund of what I was overcharged and was told I would have to wait until the general manager was in. Her name is Pam. When I said I would call corporate headquarters oh, the shift lead hastens to inform me that they were a franchise not a corporate store and corporate had nothing to do with them with them. All I can say is be very careful and check your receipt whenever you go...

These are the rudest employees I have ever come across out of all the places I go. Specifically the white girl there, couldn’t get her name. Extremely rude, hands you your order and slams the window shut and runs off so you can’t get anything else and if you really need anything else you have to sit there for 20 minutes til she feels like she wants to come back. Food was horrible, dry and can’t follow instructions for the order on the app. I would not come here at all if you’re thinking about enjoying some Carl’s Jr food. And not the mention the horrible AI ordering at the machine before you get to the window. These people do the bare minimum and have the absolute worst attitude and atmosphere. I don’t know why this specific location is even in service still and I would not be surprised if they get shut down. Do better as you get paid...
