I came here tonight to order Quesabirrias with extra grilled onions and raw onions on the side. and to chop the beef up where it would not be in big chunks, because it was for my 80 year old grandmother... I asked the lady who took my order at the drive through to repeat my order...
"She could not" WHY? "SIMPLY BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT LISTENING AND SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE BECAUSE SHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH WELL" I ASKED HER TO CHOP THE MEAT UP FINE"
It took 3 people to come to the drive thru to try to repeat my order and neither them understood... I did this so that the order would not be wrong and to make sure it is correct before paying, because they will argue you down about remaking your food or giving a refund. "I SIMPLY WANTED MY ORDER TO BE RIGHT"
Instead she put a male worker to speak to me at the drive through speaker to repeat my order. He too was not listening and tried to skate past repeating the order and this was because he did not want to chop the meat up as well. Come to find out he was the cook and it was 11:02 PM and he simply declined to make the order as requested!!! He stated he was not going to chop up the meat and that he could not take a knife and do such thing. When I asked him why couldn't he not chop it up? He said there's no guarantee... He was playing games at the drive thru and was simply being difficult, rude, nasty, and I do believe that if I was someone ordering and was non African American he would have simply done as told. I am not a victim nor am I trying to play the RACE CARD but these people were simply disrespectful.
I like California Burrito in general and I've been coming to this location a year and never had this problem but slightly a few mishaps here and there but never thought they were intentional until tonight. for.
This needs to be addressed and no one should to this location with employees with this kind of attitude. I have not had these problems with Dixon, Vacaville, or any other location except this one in West Sacramento where the Mexican people there feel entitled and show favoritism and bad customer service towards a certain group. I have never been there during the daytime but I work nights and this is where I go before starting my shift.
This may be a bad deal with night shift, because they are used to getting away with being so laxed and lazy-like where they could careless that your food may end up wrong and not fresh. This indeed bad customer service. This post is in no way to slander this restaurant franchise to say all of them are this way, but to let people know the behavior I witnessed tonight going through drive through.
I canceled my order and whoever the cook was/ male at the drive thru I last spoke to seemed to not even cared at all and let me drive off as he remained silent at the speaker after telling me "THERE'S NO GUARANTEE AND THEN A FLAT OUT NO TO RECEIVING MY FOOD AS ORDERED."
This is indeed bad customer service and I will take this complaint on to a YouTube subject matter. As an official content creator who usually does good reviews on good customer service..."THIS WILL BE A BAD ONE"
Too bad this has to be a learned lesson with California Burrito in West Sacramento. This was uncalled for and very...
Read moreI came on September 22nd around 4:45pm and ordered a Super burrito w/ grilled chicken and spicy and asked for it grilled and was charged $14.13 and it was only $9.25 for the Super burrito... I did not ask for anything extra except to grill the burrito which doesn't cost extra atleast not anywhere else it cost to grill the burrito if anything I asked for no guacamole so I'm trying to figure out where the extra $4.88 went because I know that's not in taxes for a single burrito and if so I advise everyone to find a cheaper burrito restaurant that doesn't rack up almost $5 in taxes that's just insane, I couldn't come in to address the situation because there were absolutely no parking as to why I came through the drive-thru....anywhere else you go the super burrito cost around $12 and some change and the burritos elsewhere are bigger mind you... I'm very disappointed and feel like I've been taken advantage of NOW if you read my reviews I'm not the type of person to bash restaurant's I give props where props are due... as you can see I gave you a 3 star on the food and absolutely loved the spiciness it was on point because I love spice but not that price or that size.... I'll never come back dealing with a price like that and if its not the price then employees like that... either or that ran me off... and I come all the way from the Antelope area Mon-Thu....very disappointing because I am a...
Read moreI’ve been to California Burrito in West Sac several times now, and it never disappoints. Whether I’m in the mood for street-style tacos or a hearty burrito, the food here always hits the spot. Their tacos are absolutely amazing, with a variety of meats to choose from (each one just as flavorful as the other)! If I’m craving a burrito, the Super Burrito is my go-to...I usually get it with grilled chicken (though they offer both grilled and shredded chicken, and both are great!). It’s massive, so I usually can’t finish it in one sitting, which means I get to enjoy leftovers the next day :)
California Burrito offers sit-in, carry-out, and drive-thru. On busy days, I do the drive-thru, and I’m always impressed by how quickly it moves. The last time I was there, I tried their "limited-time only" potato tacos, and let me tell you - these things are AMAZING! The crispy, house-made taco shell paired with the flavorful, cheesy potato filling is a perfect bite, and the fresh lettuce topping finishes it perfectly. I really hope they keep these on the menu!
Overall, California Burrito is a go-to spot for fresh, affordable, and absolutely delicious Mexican food. I would recommend this...
