I ordered what I usually order 1 Super Burrito chicken one wet burrito chicken mild sauces on both. The old lady behind the counter at that time working cashier. her: would you like to tip. me: no. her: would you like the receipt? me:no (thinks to self the price is off) can I see your receipt real quick? (in black letters) pre tip. what is a TIP? what is a GRATUITY ? (((A GRATUITY is a sum of money customarily GIVEN by a CLIENT or CUSTOMERS to a service worker in addition to the basic price))) the word I want to emphasize to you is ( GIVEN) I did not (GIVE) you a tip. you had TAKEN that tip from me. even befor you asked me and i gave you my answer and YOU TOOK from me. (back story) My issue is not with your food cuz your food is amazing, you have great customer service, all of you are friendly, ive brought my family there, I brought my fiance there, I brought my step-daughter there. gotten multiple friends hooked on to your restaurant. I go there and I tip sometimes when i have money to. other times i dont so i dont tip but I still come in and buy food to support my local favorite Taqueria. ( I've been going to your restaurant myself for 2 YEARS!) I know what the price is for two super burritos or a super burrito and a wet burrito the pricing has never changed! Never had a complaint up until yesterday. When I looked at the receipt and I told you no I couldn't tip you forced me to tip. i Didn't need a copy of the receipt because I looked at it and it said PRE TIP and at that moment you have lost me and a whole bunch of customers. you forced me to tip you! you took money from me! see it's not about the amount you took about the moral of the whole thing. Me and my friend have been coming to your restaurant for 6 months, weekly Wednesday or Thursdays ordering the same thing every time sometimes we tip sometimes we don't it depends on what our budget is. So everyone I've gotten ever hook to your restaurant theyll beleaving and I'll be leaving your restaurant and you will be losing some customer because of this. I won't let my friends eat there or my family ( I feel as if this was a breach of trust between the customer and owner of the restaurant I feel hurt and I feel betrayed by you guys) since I've gone there for so long and dropped so much money worth of tips there that range from 5 to 10 to $20 tips. So the first time I I lived in Elk Grove was about five and a half years ago and the first time I came there I thought the food was good and the prices were decent and now the prices are way overboard . The girl at the cashier would not give us eye contact she was Latina and we were Latino so you think you get a little respect but she wouldn't even look me or my sister and our eyes maybe she's having a bad day but that's not my problem when you get to work you lose those attitudes and you come smiling and you treat everybody like it's their first time if you really want them to come back a second time but the other service is very attentive and kept asking if we needed anything else this is the nicest taco restaurant I've ever been in it's like being in a five-star restaurant but it's just tacos very clean I love the music but not playing American stuff no offense but it's a Mexican themed so you better hear some traditional classic Mexican music and we did so I felt more comfortable and at ease I wouldn't really recommend it the food wasn't anything spectacular in the Bay Area you can find many way better better price authentic real authentic Mexican food I don't recommend people coming here it's Elk Grove so maybe that's why they prices so high but their food is not to the price that...

This place is awesome. You can tell that it’s all scratch made with love. As soon as I walked in, I knew I made the right choice. I wanted the lengua and cabeza tacos, but they ran out! Had the buche, pastor, and carnitas tacos and they were phenomenal. The service was great and helps if you speak Spanish, but you don’t need to. You can buy bottled beer here and aguas frescas as well. I also ordered the beef soup and that was too much. Had to take it back to the hotel and literally heated it up and had it for breakfast. The soup was so good. Plenty of large cut veggies, carrots, potato, cabbage and beef shins. Broth was super tasty and they give you fresh onions, cilantro and lime to put in, along with hot sauce. If I’m ever in the area again, definitely stopping by. You can dine in, but it’s small and really meant to stop in and out to get your stuff to go. Definitely make this a place to stop by, the food...
