On July 22, 2019 at around 3 pm I went in to Subway to purchase food. I waited for over 15 minutes to pace my order when only one person was ahead of me. During the time of placing my order the electricity kept going off and on and when I was about to pay the electricity was off and card machine did not work. Keep in mind during the time I was in Subway my sick baby was throwing up in the car while my mom watched her. Since I couldn't pay with my card and the only $8 I had in my wallet were not sufficient, I was only able to buy the applesauce for my baby and the apple juice. The employee grabbed the sandwiches that I ordered and put them aside to throw away. I not only felt embarrassed but I cried all the way home because it was not my fault the electricity went out and my card could not be charged. I wasn't offered to come back with cash. Not only that but I didn't get a receipt for what I did purchase for my baby. A couple that was there offered to pay for me when I was on my way to my car but they had a subway card which they wouldn't of been able to charge since they could not charge my card. Needless to say where I have worked before, we would rather give the client the food free of charge rather than throw the food away especially if the client waited more than they should have waited in line. The incident was appalling but I definitely will tell my story to the consumer complaint against this business in efforts that this does not happen to...
Read moreI previously ordered a cold cut trio with meat, olives, pickles, and pepperoncini, and had been a regular customer due to the friendly service, particularly from the Asian lady. However, my last order was not satisfactory, and I politely informed her of the issue, explaining that I was willing to pay more for the meat. I was surprised by her reaction, as she became defensive and rude, stating that she would refuse service to anyone and offering to review the security footage to investigate the matter. She kept repeating and stating she can and will refuse service to anyone. I just informed the young woman who was making the sandwich I was ordering to cancel it. It was really weird because the Asian lady was raising her voice becoming louder with a statement of refusal of service. Shame, just wanted a sandwich with extra meat that I was willing to pay for, somehow she turned it into a hostile customer service. This was a great place to come, the Asian lady was always friendly with service. I won't be back. I don't know how this turned ugly but she managed to make...
Read moreSubway is subway, you create the sandwich - so if you don't like it, you only have yourself to blame. The veggies were decent freshness and the meat wasn't much to write home about. I am mainly giving a low rating due to service. I ordered the sub of the day - but I guess the workers didn't know what the sub of the day was, and made the turkey. I don't go to Subway too often to know what the difference between their turkey and chicken look like. At check out I was charged for a normal sandwich. I told them I ordered the sub of the day - but they insisted it was my fault for not noticing it was turkey. I told them I am okay with them making a new sandwich with chicken. Instead they gave me the turkey and charged the sub of the day price and told me "it will be okay this time" - as if it was still my fault. I don't think the customer is always right, but I also don't see how I could be blamed or was in the wrong. It was mostly upsetting because it was the manager placing the blame. Not...
