King's Pizza — Restaurant in West Virginia

Walked in and was greeted to sit anywhere. So we did. Waited a good 10 mins before we got menus and Drink Order. We gave the waitress our drink order and she brought them back and just sat them down and left. We had to grab the drinks that we ordered. A few more people came in and sat down. We waited another 10 mins and the waitress started taking orders from people who came in AFTER us. I stopped the waiter and i was not quiet and i said They came in After we did and she is taking there order, She never came back to get ours. He goes im so sorry and took our order. We watched peoples food come out and ours never did. People how came in way after we ordered were getting there food. Our waiter kept saying it will be right out. He went back into the kitchen several times to see where our food was. Finally when it came out it was wrong. My onions were not fried, My hamburger was microwaved and dried out. My fiances Steak and Cheese was more fried onions then Steak and it was greasy. The only good thing was the Bacon Cheese Fries. I will NEVER be back...

Be careful when ordering an hour or so before closing time. I've never had an issue with this specific King's before so I assumed they would give me a fresh pizza. I ordered an xlg pepperoni at 8:47 pm on 7/8/25. Was there to pickup at 9:09 pm. Didn't bother to check it out as I've never had this problem with them before. Came home 3 miles from there and opened box to see that it was a hard, stiff as a board, overcooked, reheated, older pizza. Other than the obvious signs it was reheated, it was barely warm and the cheese by the previous cuts was browned, the tips of the cuts in middle are curled and dried out. Won't make this mistake again. Pure laziness and terrible satisfaction on this one. Never order after 8 or 8:30 pm or you may end up with the same situation I did. "UPDATE" A very pleasant and polite representative of this establishment contacted me and she offered to resolve and satisfy my issue appropriately. VERY NICE INDEED. Thank you....

The pizza is not the reason to go here. The cheese is rubbery and the dough is tough. My kids can't eat it, they choke on the cheese. My son can teethe on the crust. That being said, the calzone is wonderful. I don't understand how the calzone is delightful while the pizza is atrocious. The spaghetti is decent for carry out. Avoid the fries. I haven't tried the other entrees, they may be good. I've also tried their steak and cheese subs, they are usually good. A word of advice is to ALWAYS check your order BEFORE you leave. I have personally made the mistake of not checking my order, then getting home only to realize that my mushroom pizza was not a mushroom pizza but a pepperoni pizza (which everyone in my house can't stand).
