Being from out of town, we picked this place randomly off of Google maps after leaving a local tattoo shop in search of a good burger. Let me tell you - we hit the jackpot! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant and been this happy with absolutely EVERYTHING about it from start to finish. I have to say, our appetizer was probably my favorite thing we ordered. The fried buffalo broccoli (it had a catchy name I can’t quite remember) was so good I could have ordered another plate of it just for me. I’ve had buffalo cauliflower before, but this was far superior and cooked perfectly. My daughter ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. That burger - so juicy - just perfection. I ordered off their special “chicken menu”. They have four different types of wings. I ordered the overnight brined smoked bone-in wings. There are dozens of sauces and rubs to choose from. I chose the maple bacon bourbon sauce. It was exquisite and came with actual chunks of bacon. The wings themselves were tender and juicy - no dry wings like you get in many bars. They were so good that the few I brought home for my husband were still tender and few hours later after being heated up again. As one last topper to the experience, the service was great. Granted, we were the only ones there at 3 pm on a Thursday, but still he was super polite and patient with us as we struggled with our indecision over their extensive menu. I’m not sure what it’s like in the there when it gets busy, but if the quality of the food doesn’t suffer - it’s completely worth the wait. Kudos to the chef at Boomerangs!!!

We stopped here to use our Food Fights coupon and glad we did. We had the smoked chicken wings with Thai peanut sauce and an order of brisket with sides of house salad and chili. DH said his chili was very good and he's a bit of a chili nut. The wings were crispy and saucy although I would've liked more of a peanut flavor. Thai peanut sauce is usually more "peanut-y" and only mildly spicy. We went on a Friday night and they had a band which made the place pretty lively with an upbeat atmosphere. Edit: We returned to Boomerangs on a Sunday and this time the food, service and atmosphere were very disappointing. My prime rib/grilled cheese sandwich was reminiscent of a tire left out in the sun for too long - tough, chewy and utterly devoid of any flavor or succulence. It seems the cow moonlighted as a body builder. The American cheese (that I consider a crime against dairy) lacked any semblance of flavor. Instead, how about cheddar cheese and some horseradish cream sauce to liven up the taste buds? Service was inefficient and sloooooowwwww even though the place was only 25% full. The acoustics in this place created a loud and annoying environment amplified by the shrill screeching of a group of half drunk women. We tried it twice and it was 50/50.

3 years ago I gave this place 3 stars, and they have proved me wrong every time I've visited since. Regularly participating in the RI Foodfights has brought me back for burger, tacos, and no wings. And every time has been a great experience. The food has been amazing each time. Burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the wings we got last week were top notch. They are currently in my top 3 for this month's competition. I got the Thai peanut and the boyfriend got lemon pepper and they were huge and mouth watering. The Thai peanut sauce was just a touch spicy and very rich which I loved, and the lemon pepper dry rub was so tasty. Add to our order a garlic bread poutine and honey cornbread and I couldn't stop talking about how good it was for a day. If you enjoy good food and people watching this is a must visit spot in the West Warwick area.

Worst restaurant experience of my life. Food was gross, service was horrendous! Called ahead because we were going to be a large party (9) and told them it was my birthday dinner with family. When we arrived there were other people at our table. The waitress/bartender (who claimed to be the manager) insisted they were part of our party. When I told her they were not, she said they told her they were (doubtful as my name was our reservation.) She proceeded to tell them they had to move instead of setting up a new table for us (place was pretty empty) and NEVER cleaned or refreshed or even moved chairs back to table, where they had been sitting. Table was set for 12 and we were only 9 so we sat away from the part they were sitting instead of having her come back. Took her another 10-15 minutes to take drink order which she delivered 1 at a time. Asked her to take app order. We were told they were out of French fries for poutine but could sub curly fries (?) After about 15 minutes I asked if we could place dinner order. Had to go to the bar to twice ask about our apps taking so long. Our waitress was “flirting” at end of bar with patrons and had to ask her to go check on food. The second time I asked for manager. Our waitress insisted she was the manager. I told her that first she sat people at our table then never wiped it or reset it and now I had to come ask about our apps for the second time. She continued to give story about kitchen being backed up. I mentioned to her that I understand kitchen can get backed up but that she hadn’t come over at all since we placed the order to see if we wanted more drinks or to apologize for the wait, nor had she been in the kitchen to check or help kitchen staff get food out (as a true “manager” would do) Only then did she come over to bringing water to half of the table and seeing if we wanted more drinks. Never came back with water for rest of table. We ended up Waiting OVER and hour for 2 of our 3 appetizers (poutine, fried pickles and pretzels…which arrived 10 minutes after the other 2) We waited close to another hour for our food and received 1 meal at a time!!! It took 30 minutes from time first dinner was dropped off before everyone had their food. Terrible, terrible, terrible service and blah food. Ruined what was supposed to be a fun celebration. Do disappointed. Will never return and will warn friends and family...

This is the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to. We had a reservation for 7:30, walked in at 7:25, waitress sat a group of three at our reserved table for 10. Ordered pretzels and poutine for appetizers, we STILL have not received it and it’s nearly an hour after we ordered it. Not to mention the fact that when it was ordered the place was a ghost town, booths and the bar. So there is absolutely no excuse as to why “the kitchen is backed up”, because you had plenty of time to fire that before more people came in. Server is too busy yapping with her friends at the bar and in other booths to pay attention to her section. I’ve seen better front of house and back of house when I played with my zhu-zhu pets at the experienced age of 7. The only redeeming factor was the woman that sang Valerie by Amy Winehouse, she’s got the voice of an angel. However, the male singer makes me wish I was born without my eardrums. My mother and I both had to go up to the bar to ask where our food was. Still no food! Incompetent and daft staff. It is now 8:43 and we have finally received all of our APPETIZERS. Over an hour after we ordered them. You can’t throw gravy and mozzarella sticks on fries and call it “poutine” that’s literally not how that works. Soft pretzels were somehow dry and wet at the same time. Not to mention the fact that this was a Wednesday night. Air conditioning was leaking and dripping all over my sister and her boyfriend. No parking at all, which doesn’t surprise me since people are probably stuck at their booths for 8 hours. And another thing, why is a man singing Pink Pony Club if he can’t hit any of the notes. Pick a song in your vocal range buddy. It is now 9:16, my sister and her boyfriend are the only ones without their food. Our waitress is standing around doing absolutely nothing. 9:18, the last two have received their food. The onion rings were like biting into a stack of straw. Over fried and they need to clean their oil. I have had beef jerky that isn’t as dry as this brisket. It’s like they took it as a challenge to recreate the dry turkey in Christmas vacation. Mac and cheese is so bland and unflavored that I thought I was eating Elmer’s glue. We finally left at 9:25, I will now need to buy myself dinner again because this place sucks. I suggest you guys close and find a different...

I can only speak for takeout experiences. Two recent orders as I've only just discovered this place. Had forgotten it was another name from when the previous business had been there.

I wanted to give it a try as one of the few places that seems to carry brisket on the menu. Prices vary, I get that, but it was worth a try. Portions were consistent with price, plus two sides. Also ordered the appetizer chili and was surprised to find the portion for that price. The serving was generous for the cost, lasts for 2-3 meals if that's your thing.

The brisket was excellent. I'd say, in comparison to previous experiences elsewhere, this was one of the better ones I have had, and more on the lean side than many places.

Order 2 was the pulled pork, tater tots, chili as the two sides. The side order chili appears to be the exact size of the appetizer one, which I got this time separately. So, again, you order chili as your side with a meal you can feed 2-3 people with it. There was also an order of the boneless crispers. Again, generous portions for the price, and enough for two people there. Good flavor, not overkill on the sauce used. If it's not drowning in sauce to the point that you have to pick the chicken out like you're trying to rescue someone from a shark attack in the ocean, then you know it's done right. All white meat from what I could tell. Everything has hit the mark thus far, sometimes exceeded expectations. Have yet to experience the dine-in hence the 4 stars, but this is absolutely a positive experience and a recommended spot. Great work, BR. You've fed a family and we have plenty of...
