Unwined Beer And Wine Lounge — Restaurant in West Warwick

We drive by this place all the time and we are always a little skeptical based on the outside look. We stopped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat. The gentleman behind the bar was very friendly and attentive which was the only true reason why I'm giving the rating. The wine was just okay but a little pricier. We also were not offered menus and did not seem to have any food options or advertising anywhere in the location like the website states. I'm not even sure there was a kitchen there. We did not get any food. It is a very small bar with a very basic old time atmosphere. Biggest issue is they charge an additional 4% on your bill when using your credit card for payment. No mention of that anywhere until after your charged. Also. I'm not personally a big fan of smokers in front of the building as the inside also smelled like cigarettes as well. Just my opinion. But I do think it has potential just needs...

Like most we were the couple that kept driving by this place always saying we were going to stop in one of these days…today was the that day and we’re so happy we did. Small and cozy, great wine and beer selection. We got the charcuterie board , AMAZING. Melissa knows her stuff when it comes to food. She spoiled us with her food, knowledge and attention. She even surprised me with a zeppole with a lit candle for my birthday, made my day 🎂 The owner, Angelo I believe his name is, made us feel like we were regulars, LOVE him. I can't believe I haven't rated this place when I have already posted pictures. What is there to say? This place is awesome, people are so so nice, they remember every face, they will feed you any time, they only serve beer and wine. They are super nice. Make you feel like family. So fun.

Update- I've been here a few times and I can't tell you enough... You feel like family here. Great local spot.
