I gave this place a try after my go to place was unavailable with high hopes . I placed an online order and I ordered a large pepperoni pizza , fried pickles and a chicken wing dinner w/fries .. the wings were supposed to be tossed in bbq sauce as requested and the pickles with ranch dressing on side . I got my order and went home , but I probably should’ve checked my stuff once I got it before leaving the place because my fried pickles were over fried to the point the batter was coming off some of tops and the pickle was all shriveled dry .. that was disappointing then I open my wing dinner and the wings are just plain , not tossed in bbq sauce . I called the store and let them know my issue and was then handed over to a manager who I then had to tell my whole spiel to all over again . They offered to remake the dinner and the pickles , I accepted and it was set to be delivered to me . The food arrives and the delivery person tells me “he” said he’ll take the old food you don’t want back .. I said ummmm ok hold on and went back inside for a moment but at that point the food had been tossed so I told the person delivering it was thrown away and she said ok I’ll let them know and I thanked her and she went on her way . I just want to know why ANY place serving food would want food that you took into your posession back , like are they going to serve it to someone else ?? Is it going to be shown to work staff as a learning example on what not to do or what ??? Either way I felt that was super unsanitary to want food back from someone who took it home and who knows if it’s been touched , sneezed on etc . Such a turn off and I’ve never heard of such a thing !!!!! There are germs and I don’t see why????? Yes they fixed the issue, but I felt that that was very strange .. it’s not my problem that people over cooked the pickles and cannot follow simple online order instructions/details . I most likely will not eat there again and anyone else should be aware , I hope your food is fresh and not someone’s order that was messed up that they took back to repurpose...
Read moreTried this place on a whim. We drove from Salem, MA as we travel south and pulled off for gas. My husband really wanted pizza and picked this one for proximity and positive reviews. We ordered a small “death by buffalo” pizza and a large pepperoni pizza. The buffalo was mildly buffalo and toppings were a bit spared. A little bit of a bummer considering it cost more than the large pizza.
It was okay in flavor as was the pepperoni. Would have loved for it to be spicier on the buffalo. What was unfortunate is whatever the crust is. The crust on the small was so done it cut my mouth. It’s a sort of bready crust so with it being overdone, it’s like a crispy cracker on the bottom layer and hard to chew. The pepperoni pizza was the opposite. Barely done and very soft. I would’ve taken something in between. Strange they were so drastically different in doneness. We also got the Loaded Tots War Hammers. Those were yummy but came with no sauces so a little dry. The two liter was warm and flat as the lid wasn’t sealed, which honestly felt like a manufacturing issue, so no ill feelings there.
The service wasn’t super great. I ordered online and we went to pick it up. Poor vibes when I came in but they were busy and probably annoyed to see a customer that might place an order. I worked a pizza place for a decade so I understand that vibe within an hour of closing.
Everyone seemed frantic and confused when I gave them my name. A few folks behind the counter were mildly dismissive and grumpy but the young lady to hand me my food was polite. I was nearly sent away without all of my food and when I asked for it again felt like I was a nuisance by the other employees.
This was our first and only experience of Rhode Island so maybe that’s how it goes. All in all, I would probably choose another pizza joint if we could do it over again, but at least it was warm and we got to eat after...

My most recent visit to this small over looked gem in this f#@$ed up city encouraged me to write this review. I bought a typical pasta dish, you see it all the time on practically every menu. What made this visit so unique is the customer service. The food came hot and in a timely manner as usual. But this time I finished eating but still had leftovers. I was going to get up and ask for a cover to put on the dish to take how, it was already in a small pizza box to being with. But upon further inspection I noticed there was already a cover on the bottom of the dish with an additional folk knife and napkin set. The food was wicked good, served hot, and on time as I have always come to expect. But this time it was the little things that caught my eye.
It makes you wonder, this much attention to great customer service detail will stand to show what else they do right. Food, prices, managem man,and availability. They earned that name Wicked Good!
