2020: We had a reservation and we still had a wait of more than 20 minutes for a table. We ordered the mussels but it was sold out. The corn chowder with crab meat was okay. The imperial dip was tasty. Our fish and shrimp entrees were well prepared and quite good. The place was packed and hence it was rather noisy. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and dishes were presented on a timely manner even on a busy Saturday night. Overall, we had a good experience and will go back again. 9/18/2022 Update: What are the odds that you traveled around the world and encountered one of worst dinning experiences near home. We had a reservation and we were seated quickly, the dining room was half full on a Sunday evening. We waited a long time for the wait staff to appear, then to get our drinks/ bread and to refill our drinks. It took a exceedingly long time for the salad and soup to arrive and the entrees as well. The grilled Ahi tuna was beyond well done and tasted like cardboard. The rest of the entrees were okay. It would be a shame if they screw up the famous Bang Bang shrimp. I don't think the pandemics, high inflation, hiring difficulties are the excuses for the creation of such terrible service.

The bang bang shrimp ($13.50) was awesome for an appetizer. The complimentary bread was very good too. The dinner salad (which was an upcharge of $2.50 as a side) was not good at all. The lettuce wasn't fresh and it had no cheese, cucumber or other expected ingredients for a dinner salad. The 7oz filet mignon was tender but had almost no seasoning and little taste. I had to add a good bit of salt to extract some flavor. It was also cooked medium rare rather than medium, as requested. I would not pay $27.90 for it again. My second side (another upcharge of $3.90 because it was considered premium), the Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts were delicious. My wife also had an upcharge of $3.90 for her asparagus. Tea & soda was $3.79 each. I would give our server a 5 out of 10. Overall, I was not overly impressed and, in my opinion, it is overpriced.

We love Bonefish in Exton! We've out share of bad experiences with food, but they were resolved amicably by excellent service. Their fish specials are to die for - whether it's a salmon, halibut, swordfish, or a more common species. But we also looove their Chimichurri steak and Chicken Marsala, and yes, the Bang Bang Shrimp. Always a friendly service, and as mentioned previously, when there was a problem, it was taken care of. They have great happy hour deals on both food and drinks, but even the regular drinks are excellent. I love their smoked Old Fashioned and my wife enjoys their spicy Margaritas. Don't forget to start the account where you earn points toward the next meal. It's usually only $5 or $10 that you save, but going there a few times per month adds up nicely.

Nice place. Been there before. But this time it was really bad. Out of control. Directly in front of me was a family out of control. A family sat across from us and had a child on a device playing a video which played audible gunshots out loud for the entire time we were there. I asked management kindly to stop this so we could eat our dinner in peace since it was a Friday nite and my wife and I were coming off a major work week and we were tired.

But the waiter, young manager and supervising manager never addressed the situation. They did nothing at all except for one thing. At the end of the meal when we were leaving, the main manager came to me and asked a series of inappropriate things as if he didn't know what was going on which doesn't make sense since the video was blaring gunshots the entire time I was there. I got up and leaving met a younger manager who was appropriate. I told the staff while leaving that the main manager was inappropriate and I explained to them that I listened to gunshots from a video the entire time I was there. They said they were sorry.

However this sort of thing needs to be addressed appropriately and management needs training on how to talk to people, especially customers, appropriately. I hope that the owner will review this review and talk to the main manager. I believe the younger manager is the better person for the main manager job. I believe he should get that position. I believe if you talk kindly and communicate nicely in a difficult situation it will result in repeated customers. Aggressive managers don't do well with repeat customers cause they won't come back and they will tell others not to go there. So the moral of this discourse is be kind to the customers and they will return. But if you have a problem employee then address the employees issues or they will compromise...

We wish we could place our score at 4.5. My wife and I received a gift card as a gift, and after discussion of which Bloomin' Brands establishment we would visit, we decided to give Bonefish a chance. We had previously visited a number of times over the last few years and were unimpressed. With new ownership and a recent remodel(according to friends) we had high hopes and were not disappointed. We received a warm greeting from the hostess and were seated at a booth in the bar. Our server-in-training, Natalie was accompanied by Hannah, her trainer. Both were delightful! We informed them that we were out for a much needed date night and that we would be "stretch" dining. They were very attentive and accommodating. Our appetizer Beef and Ginger Potstickers were excellent, the Tempura Crunch Sashimi Tuna was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked but was lacking an intensity of flavor. The grouper special was flavorful but a bit over oiled, the Chilean Sea Bass was superb and the accompaniments were all delicious. Because we are alumni of the hospitality industry we only have a couple of things to suggest to the new owners...the bar area should always be more dimly lit than the dining room. We asked for the lights to be dimmed and it was taken care of immediately by Dave, the manager, who was excellent in every regard. My wife received a short pour of Grand Marnier in a snifter...the bartendress needs to be taught to lay the snifter down to assure the proper pour. And finally,(since we had our own restaurant), don't respond just to the complaint comments, respond to all, good and bad alike! We will certainly return in the...

Since it was Valentines day my boyfriend and I wanted to try a new restaurant. Bonefish Grill seemed very nice for a special occasion dinner. We booked a reservation and everything was beautiful; Romantic atmosphere, fake candles and a single rose at the center of the table. The bread we received was clearly left out for a while, once again Valentine's day rush...so we brushed it aside.

My boyfriend ordered the creole pasta. The shrimp was magnificent but the sauce did not stick to the pasta at all. It definitely seemed and tasted watered down. We suspect that the rush of customers gave the chefs no time to make a new batch, but we are still paying customers. My lobster tail had absolutely no flavor or even salt. I drowned it in butter hoping it'd help, nope. My filet was decent, perfectly medium rare but DRY. The mac and cheese side had no taste despite having crumbs and a load of cheese mixed in there. Our mashed potatoes were just mashed potatoes, creamy and light. We overheard the manager apologizing to a table about one of their kitchen equipment not working. So there was just a lot going on that day

UPDATE Bonefish reached out to me and asked me to submit a ticket. I did. No response, and instead receiving a bunch of spam mail from them advertising. Had to deduct another star. Don't tell me to reach out if you're not...
