UPDATE: Let’s talk about Zoup! because this place is next-level when it comes to soup and sandwiches. First off, the Shrimp & Corn Chowder—absolutely phenomenal. Creamy, rich, and loaded with flavor, it was everything I hoped for and more. And don’t let the cup portion fool you—it was plenty satisfying.

My girl went for the Toscana Chicken sandwich and the Fiesta Chicken Salad—both excellent choices. But here’s the truth: I knew she wouldn’t finish it all, so I strategically only got soup. Best decision ever. I got to enjoy my amazing chowder while conveniently helping her with the sandwich and salad (teamwork, right?). The Toscana Chicken was perfection—savory, melty, and packed with flavor. The Fiesta Chicken Salad? Fresh, zesty, and just the right amount of kick.

Now, let’s get real—this place is a weekly must for me. If you’re thinking Zoup! is just another sandwich and soup spot, think again. As far as I’m concerned, it’s up there with The Palm, but without the price tag. Seriously, high-end quality at budget-friendly prices.

The staff? Always pleasant. The atmosphere? Relaxing. And the mood music? Pure Gen-X gold—throwback ‘80s jams with an upbeat jingle at the end that somehow sticks in your head (not mad about it).

Zoup, oh Zoup, you steal my heart, With soups and sandwiches, a work of art. The Shrimp & Corn, so rich, so bold, A cup was plenty, warm and gold.

Toscana Chicken, a bite divine, Fiesta Salad? Oh, so fine! Yet somehow, I knew the trick, She’d leave me extras—quick to pick!

The mood is set, the music plays, Throwback jams from golden days. A weekly stop, a taste so prime, Luxury dining—without the dime!

So here’s my praise, both loud and true, Zoup! my love, I’m hooked on you!

A Fantastic Experience at Zoup!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zoup! and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The restaurant was spotless, and the peaceful playlist added to the inviting atmosphere, making for a relaxing dining experience.

The food was just as impressive as the service. I started with the lobster bisque, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor—absolutely delicious. My Mediterranean grain bowl was another standout, packed with fresh, vibrant ingredients. The portions were generous, almost too much for me, so next time I’ll have to choose between soup or a bowl!

I also sampled the pepper steak soup, and I have to say—it rivals my wife’s homemade version, which is no small feat. Meanwhile, she enjoyed the California chicken sandwich, which was another hit—fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly prepared.

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked up to the store and both people working in there had their masks off. Not only were they off but they were actively EATING overtop the OPEN bowls of soup. When I walked in and said I would like to cancel my order because of that they didn’t seem to have a problem with it. When I tried to explain the problem, the manager proceeded to ask me, “would this be a problem before covid?” YES, the answer is yes. You shouldn’t be eating over top of open food. Think about it, would you want to eat your dinner if you watched your waitress eat a fry from your plate before bringing it to you? Answer is no you wouldn’t, pre or during covid that’s disgusting. He also explained that they were six feet apart with no masks. Which one wasn’t the case they were about a foot maybe two tops apart, and pretty positive that rule doesn’t apply for a food server while you’re actively working with food. To make it even better he just kept saying have a nice day and walked into the other room, horrible management and a show of no respect for the current pandemic we are in and all those that have died from it.
