Mizu Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in West Windsor

Have been here for lunch before. Don’t want to cook tonight. So ordered sushi and sashimi! $55 party tray, 3 special rolls and 4 regular rolls, your choice!!! Good deal! We ordered sumo roll, caterpillar roll, fantastic roll as special rolls. Yellowtail special roll, Alaska roll, crunchy roll and eel avocado roll as regular rolls. It was very good especially in this price. We definitely will order it again in the future. Sashimi Ume was good too. Not the best but ‘normal’ good! They asked us to pay on the phone. And when we arrived to pick up, it was already placed on the pick up table after the first door. So no contact with people, And they don’t even try to ask for tips for take out like other restaurants...

1/22/21 - waited over 2 hours for my order! When I called after an hour of waiting, I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I asked again what's the situation and I was told to wait a few more minutes. In total, I waited well over 2 hours. Many people were waiting outside this restaurant. HORRIBLE customer service and TERRIBLE order system. DO NOT SAY ASAP WHEN THE ORDER OBVIOUSLY ISN'T READY ASAP. Everyone waiting outside could not believe how long it took. If you order from this place, make sure you call ahead because the ordering system is antiquated. I'll find another place in the area that respects...

Mizu is a cosy restaurant with a large menu of beautifully made dishes. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. Meals are prepared and served efficiently, with no long wait between ordering and serving. The ingredients used are fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is simple, but pleasant, and, even when every table is filled with diners, it's surprisingly quiet. That's such a relief from establishments that play loud music and/or have no noise baffling in their construction that make conversation difficult!
