Café Zernó — Restaurant in Westfield

Decided to visit on opening weekend. We were pretty impressed. Right as we walked in, the aesthetic had very nice Earthy tones with plenty of lovely plants which is my vibe. The decor was very well thought out and pretty. There were menus available to take to a table and then order up at the counter. We were impressed with the quality of food items. The seared tuna salad had plenty of umami flavor and the veggies were fresh. We also tried one of the smash burgers which were excellent. Definitely love a thinner patty which was charred nicely. The flavors with the jalapeños and sauce were really great and not overpowering. The only thing missing were some fries. We will be sure to order them on the side because that's all that was really missing. There was a drink menu with lattes and cappuccino. i went here a few weeks ago and saw that the employees werent being treated with absolute respect by others working, assuming the managers. i also have seen that this cafe uses generative ai to advertise their products, such as their coffee. ai is harmful to the environment, but in this case, it’s misleading and false advertising for susceptible people who may not be able to tell the difference between real and ai. ive also seen that they use trumps chef in advertising and that said chef has made recipes for the cafe. they boast and brag about their relations with trump and his chef which is upsetting. of course everyone shares different political views but there should never be a time or place where a seemingly calm and safe environment should talk about political figures in idolizing ways, the food and drinks are good, but the management behind the business seems to be...

Did a little bit of traveling in the last 30 years everywhere from nationally in US to Europe and got to experience quite some variety of coffees, pastries and cuisines. Always paid attention to the atmosphere and the what’s on the plate almost equally. Listen when I say that this place is THE place to be in Westfield or even if you’re coming from Agawam, West Springfield, Longmeadow, Suffield and beyond. Having to know the owners personally and how dedicated they are for crafting their menus, sourcing the ingredients and pouring their hearts into service, makes me want to come back here more and more and bring everyone I know!
