Greek's Pizzeria of Westfield — Restaurant in Westfield

Like other upset patrons, also was here for the event advertised on (and not cancelled with any notice) instagram and via email for $1 slices of pizza and $2 beers. Bait and switch, as we were welcomed to order at regular prices, and only offered $2 beers after standing up for ourselves and pushing back. Not the $1 slices though for some reason. In fact, several customers mentioned the only reason they were there was the ad, all now eating at regular price at a full restaurant. Greeks must have made a lot of money today, congrats. If only there was a word for bringing customers in under false pretense….meanwhile the snarky, excuse making owner below wants to conflate her absolute abysmal communication to her staff, who had no idea about the event, with controlling the weather, an obvious bad faith argument.

Nobody is perfect. Business owners can make it right when they mess up, or they can make excuses. The business had all the ingredients to still offer the $1 pizza and chose not to. Thanks to this business owner for clarifying which type of business...

Brought my kids here for an event posted on Facebook. Upon getting to the restaurant I'm told this event "Spring Fever Backyard Party at Greeks" advertised on Facebook was cancelled and they are not honoring the $1 pizza slices and $1 beers advertised, but that we were welcome to eat here at normal menu prices. Several people came in after myself for the same event. They have been notified several times by myself and other people who have come in after me for the event that the event is STILL up on Facebook and Instagram with no notification of the event cancellation for incoming customers. They have no intention of taking down the event from their social media pages or posting about the cancellation and everyone working in the restaurant claims it was the "owners" decision none of them "know anything" and they do not have a business card or email to reach out to the owner. Aka.. they are doing nothing about it and not honoring the pricing...

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Absolutely horrendous. DO NOT COME HERE.

I ordered a curbside pickup meal that was coming out a bit late. No worries. 15 minutes after the estimated time I called them but they hung up. I waited a bit longer then decided to go into the restaurant. Talking to the women at the front desk, she denied hanging up and made excuses like she was busy and the only one there. I could see there were other employees and few customers. During the whole exchange she didn’t even apologize once.

That would be fine if there was no tip; some pleases just have bad customer service. But what compelled me to write this review was the mandatory at least 15% tip I had to leave when ordering. What a joke.
