We’re finally on our way home, and of course, after such a long trip, we got really hungry. Luckily, we came across yet another amazing place to eat! I don’t know if it’s just pure luck, but we always seem to stumble upon places with great food and service. This time, we found a small but incredible spot called Kabob Grill Restaurant. Even though it’s a small place, they offer a wide variety of dishes. We were served promptly and kindly. We even had the chance to meet the owner, Mr. Azim, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. He kept us entertained with funny stories while he was cooking and we were waiting for our food. Whenever we visit Middle Eastern restaurants, I always make sure to order lentil soup — and honestly, this one was one of the best I’ve ever had! My husband said their hummus was absolutely delicious too. The entrées we ordered were not only flavorful but also came in huge portions! And because we loved the food so much, we ended up ordering a mixed grilled kabob for takeaway as well. It was supposed to be good for 3-4 people, but honestly, it could easily feed 10! They also offered some really delicious desserts. I didn’t catch the names of the pastries we tried, but trust me, they were so good! Another great food find on our journey — truly a happy, filling experience!

Update: back after a year… still amazing! Me and my husband went here for the first time. I am Persian and obsessed with koobideh kabob. We got koobideh, tabooli, and lamb biryani. Everything was seriously delicious!! The food was fresh and all the seasonings were on point. And the koobideh was better than all the koobideh I’ve tried in Persian restaurants in US. We got huge portions of everything we ordered!! We had some tea at the end and had with some pastry! The owner was very nice and welcoming too and although he a big party at the same time, he made sure everything was good. It seemed like him and his wife manage the restaurant and cook the food which was awesome and I always support a family owned small business. You need to try their food!! Now I have a place near where I live that I can get Kababs and Persian food!! We’ll be back for sure!!

Stopped on a whim. Falafel Wrap was Made fresh when i ordered... fresh Falafel is *chefs kiss* Tabuli was also fresh.I underestimated how big the tabuli portion would be. Its going to take me at least a day or 2 to finish it. It also came with some warmed pita wraps on the side, which was a nice surprise. The guy who made the food/cashed me out was pleasant and easy to understand I forgot to take a picture of the falafel wrap before i started eating it lol so its only half of it pictured lol Totally coming back

Only giving them 2 stars because the food was good. Food: Gyro with Fries and drink $15. The Gyro was actually good and filling. The fries were very greasy tho so they were soggy not crunchy. Service: I honestly won't return here. It seems like a family owned restaurant but was less than welcoming. I stopped by as I was leaving an appt because it looked like it just opened. When i walked in there was no greeting or anything even though they were not busy. The man who took my order was extremely rude and was rushing me to order. Everything on the menu sounding good but i didn't want a big meal. I pointed at the gyro with fries and drink because i feel like i always say gyro wrong and said i would like this please. He said okay and started ringing me up and i saw the price said $8. I immediately said oh no i would like the meal with fries and drink. Mind you, the menu didnt show options to get just a gyro, everything was a meal. He then got irritated and was like that is not what you said. Im like i pointed to the meal so i wanted the meal and you dont show options to just get a gyro by itself. I was like since you already rang it up for credit on your register i can pay cash for the rest to make it easier. I handed him a $20 and he had an attitude again because he didnt have enough change. I was like i can do the rest on the card if we need to. Then he pulls out his wallet and gives me the rest of the change. Needless to say his attitude and the way he was looking at me is the reason i will not be returning. Atmosphere: not welcoming, he started fussing at a family that had a child for playing with the salt on a table. Which i understand, but there is a better way...

I will start with this, I am a first gen Persian born in the US. Been in OH (lived in CA for 35yrs) for 9yrs. I've had some of the best Persian food you can think of, so I am a little harsher on my reviews of said type of food.

Took my daughter for Fathers Day dinner on Fri evening. Place is very small, which I personally loved. I think there was 6-8 tables total. My daughter is very picky in food in general. She got the chicken kabob and I got the beef kabob. We both loved our food. Amount of food vs. the price was good as well. We did not leave hungry. Just enough space for some ice cream after. Service was quick (pretty sure it was just total of 2 people working there) and very friendly. I do want to note that they didn't have soda machines (even water) so everything is bottles or cans. Never a deal breaker but just wanted to mention for others that read this review.

They have the "real" Persian yogurt drinks (I know this because my dad drinks this all the time) and what looked to be "real" Persian sweets. Next time will have to try some.

It was an hour drive to Ohio Kabob Grill and well worth it. As we were leaving, my daughter asked if we can add this to the lists of places she can eat for her birthday dinner. Kids are the most honest, so that should carry a lot of weight.

I will def be...
