Mangia Pizza & Catering — Restaurant in Westland

We have been getting carry out or delivery from Mangia for a couple of years now. The food has always been consistently great. The chicken tenders and fries cannot be matched anywhere.

The service has always been awesome and friendly as well. And the delivery times have been getting even better recently.

What ultimately made me decide to write this review was my last order. Everything was delivered to our door in UNDER 30 minutes. One thing was missing; the dipping sauce. I couldn’t have possibly cared less, given that everything else was there, and all done just right , in amazing time.

A couple of minutes after the delivery, our doorbell rang. It was the delivery driver from Mangia, making a special trip to deliver the dipping sauce. And we didn’t contact them!

This has been the type of service that we have come to expect here. And some delicious menu options that...

My family and I are not from the area and got a recommendation to check this place out while we are up here for a softball tournament. They have pretty good specials, Thursday we scored a large 2 topping pizza and got to add on some of their cheese bread for $20-ish combined. Crust has great texture and flavor, pizza sauce was perfect and the toppings were on point. Cheese bread was the same as the pizza crust just smothered with just the right amount of cheese, perfection. Individual kids pizzas were 5 or 6 each and even my 2 kids who are incredibly picky loved it. Laura and her staff were incredible, if you haven’t been yet you are missing out. Their house made Alfredo sauce is mind-blowing good and great for dipping your crust or...

I arrived at the place not knowing it was mostly entirely pickup only...the owner attended to me and placed me in banquet room so i could enjoy my meal She didn'thave to do that...but she did...i loved that. It is a small business mom n pops so service takes a bit more than usual..and cashier forgot about my pizza being ready..i had to go find it... again..this is because it's primarily "take out"😁😁...so they placed it in right area..the take out area😆😆 The pizza was very very good..ingredients were very fresh and name brand...(no wally world tomato sauce)...full of ingredients and to the edge of pie..I would definitely go there again..to take out this time... I highly recommend it..for great pizza 🍕..just be patient with the good folks...
