I’ve tried to just accept my loss and call it a day, but after being at this salon several times to correct one cut and color, I can’t. The staff and management were very nice in their defense, but that doesn’t help nor correct the fact that my hair isn’t what I asked for at all. I went in originally with Ashley and asked for a slight trim, face frame, and ash brown highlights to add some dimension to my hair. Instead, I left (the first time) with a VERY uneven hair cut (didn’t notice that until later) and extremely brassy and sloppily applied “highlights”. I contacted the original stylist to correct the color the next day and was scheduled an appointment. This time I was in and out of her chair for the color correction in less than an hour. In the salon the color looked alright, but when I got home and in natural lighting? Nope. This time it’s orange and an off green. Now this is when I finally had a day off and time to do more than just throw my hair in a pony and zoom to work. I sat down and straightened it and noticed the botched hack job I received as a hair cut. The first two times I visited the salon with Ashley I either left with my hair curled to assumingly hide the damage, or like I said I had to go to work shortly after. So, AGAIN, I called and schedule ANOTHER appointment. This is now 3 times there. This time I spoke to the manager (Lisa I believe) who was very nice and made my appointment for the next day. However, after arriving and being told the original stylist cut my hair so sloppily and uneven in the back that I had to receive a haircut completely different than what I originally asked for to salvage it, I was fed up. And on top of that the new stylist dismissed my concern for my color as “highlights are usually applied like that and pictures you show stylists are oftentimes unachievable”! Though she managed to fix my haircut to something salvageable and was polite in demeanor, my hair was now an asymmetrical green and brassy patch work mess. After almost $200 and 3 times in I was done. I don’t want to go back, nor ever will. This place is ok for a cut/trim with some of their stylists, but it seems like another one of those old lady salons that tries to be trendy. Thanks for being polite, but ya’ll messed my hair up! Absolutely love this place. Walked in felt so cozy an comfortable. Shelby is the best the colors I showed her were very few an she matched up pretty much what I wanted. It turned out absolutely awesome. Had so many complaints Hair feels great soft an looks so healthy. Walked in blonde an walked out with darker color an I'm so in love with it. Just wish I sould straighten myself an of course style it like shelby did. I have alot of hair its curly an sometimes frizz . I love the shampoo n conditioner she used an I will be purchasing it for sure. Lived my visit an will be back March 5th which is 2 days before my bday an I'm so excited to add a little Carmel or something. Either way I will walk out satisfied 100% shelby girl you ROCK

Updated review since something won't let me for some reason. Anyway I love Shelby and the salon everyone is so nice but Shelby she rocks. She is a sweetheart knows how to do my crazy hair an I walk out feeling great an beautiful I recently had a Brazilian blowout done an im absolutely in love. My hair is so curly an frizzy an dry. This has relaxed it. Looks great straight. Omg the dry time hardly none compared to before. I washed it air dry an left it be did nothing. Im one to always put my hair up but in the 2wks I've had this done I have not once put it up ive left it down before I got to hot or it was just out of control an drove me nuts. I'm following my amazing hair stylist, Helene, here because I would follow her anywhere!

I drive all the way to Michigan from Toledo (1.5 hours) to get my hair done by Helene because she is truly THAT good. I have never, ever left her chair feeling anything but happy. I usually just tell her to do whatever she thinks she should with my hair because my hair has never looked better since I started going to her & I trust her professional opinion.
