Ok, here we go...
I eat subway ~5 times a year, as their quality has gone down dramatically, and prices have increased dramatically. Anyone who pays full price for Subway needs to re-evaluate their life. There are ALWAYS deals online to significantly decrease the price. I usually pay somewhere between 5.50-6.50 per sub, based on the promotion at the time. BOGO, two subs for 12.99, or whatever. The only problem is it has to be an online order, and you're physically not there to say, "Can you please put more than 4 pickles on my footlong sub."
I ordered from this subway ~2 weeks ago, 2 standard subs, and it was a disaster. Not sure why they have the option of "Less, More, Normal" because the worker obviously didn't care. Yes, as the other reviews state, I did get sick as well. Both subs were made incorrectly, and I'm not talking about 1 honest mistake, there were multiple mistakes made. This means the worker clearly made the sub his way, probably in order to save money. Missing vegetables, missing sauces, missing cheese, less meat than usual, and stale bread. Again, they can do this because we're not in front of them to say, "Can you please put the normal amount of meat on my sub?"
For the millionth time, I hope someone reading this realizes, raising prices and lowering quality DO NOT WORK.
I would think the owner would say, wow, business is down, and my rating is 3.6 stars, let me get my act together.
I'm going to try something new. I'm going to order online to get the great price, but from the parking lot. Then I'm going to rush inside and say, I had the online order. I assume they will start making it with me standing right there, and it will be made correctly. ...
Read moreI recently visited this Subway location and had a pretty disappointing experience. I noticed that some of the lettuce was turning brown and kindly asked if fresher lettuce could be used. Unfortunately, the request seemed to upset the staff member's, and she became rough with my sandwich, even tossing it on the counter. Additionally, there were no straws, bags, or fountain drinks available, and the drinks that were there tasted flat. My boyfriend ordered a sub as well, but when he asked for a little extra lettuce, his sandwich was also handled a bit too harshly.
We love Subway and have had great experiences at other locations, so this was unexpected. I’ll likely be visiting another sub shop for now, but I hope improvements can be made here so future visits go...
Read moreUsed to go for quick subs with option to choose own veggie toppings. Recent tv commercials say Subway now shaves their own deli meat fresh in store daily. Why is their now a metal shield hiding the meats in their front case now?? Meats were ALWAYS visible for years just like the veggies......with a protective CLEAR shield so customers could see quality of the meats. Veggies toppings are still openly in view. I asked store manager why are meats and cheeses now hidden (?) behind this new metal shield. She stated it was a "corporate" decision beyond her control. Soooo......NO MORE Subway for me.....what is unviewable by customers.. behind the...
