Is Popeyes in Westland when I get my service anymore? Popeyes in general when I get my service because of the 34275 Westland, Michigan on Ford road tired of the up-and-down service is never consistent. The people are rude I tried to place the order. I was the only car in drive-through and all I asked the young lady was can I have my family meals mixed with spicy and classic she gets loud over the intercom mind you I’m recording somebody outside doing something inappropriate so I have a recording of her over the intercom, getting an attitude and getting loud with me all I asked her was am I allowed to mix my chicken she yells and say do you want classic or spicy? And I said I’m not allowed to mix it and she repeated herself very loudly with an attitude. Do you want classic or do you want spicy and I said ma’am are you getting rude with me and then she started yelling at me over the intercom and I told her I hope you know I recorded you so then, as I went past the window, she says good I’m glad don’t care, then I went in to get the information that I needed to make a complaint all of them standing around doing nothing a bunch employees in the front. They didn’t even say anything they knew what took place and they didn’t even say anything I am mediately got on the Internet so that I can call corporate and make my complaint they think they hurting me then I’m hurting me they heard them selves. They hurt and their income because I don’t have to work at Popeyes and you’re ruining the owners business. The owner should be more watchful over their business because people will stop coming. There’s a lot of food places that’s being closed down Burger King’s they don’t close 29 of those Now and some other fast food places so and then I don’t need that. The people who are really good workers that’s deserving of a higher pay they can’t even get a higher pay because people don’t think they’re deserving of it because of the bad reputation and bad people like this woman and so many others that are so evil and so disrespectful she makes her mama look bad they ghetto stuff needs to stop and people like that will not go far not to mention you all are making the black...
Read moreThe handling of food and utensils were unsanitary. I watched the gentleman leave the register to began packaging food. Hands were not washed and he handled money. Yes, he did wear gloves, but you are touching clean gloves with dirty hands. I waited for a while to be serviced and I was approached by the manager who asked if I had been helped. I explained that I had not, and was concerned about what was going on in the kitchen. The spatula was rinsed in the sink that hands were being washed in and pop was poured down the drain of that same sink (mind you it was an employee's drink and he had it in the kitchen area). One gentleman kept using the sink with his gloves on I could not tell if he was rinsing his gloves or what. Recommendation, remove the gloves, pitch them, wash your hands and get a new set of gloves. Another person was in the kitchen ran his hands across the nose area plus was drinking his beverage -- well fries needed to be dropped so it was asked if he could do it. Never did he wash his hands, he got the bag of fries, opened it and poured into the fryer. Thank goodness for hot grease. I thought most could have removed coats or jackets unless they were servicing the drive thru window. If they are going to wear light jackets, Popeye's should provide branded wear so they look uniform opposed to wearing outside wear. Overall, the kitchen did not look clean either. I think with a little training and care, it definitely can be better. Ultimately, I walked out without placing an order because I just did not like the handling and did not feel good providing it to my family. (I was not ordering for self) Note: I typically go in to see how employees are handling food or if they look clean (yes I have went into some establishments and saw animal hair on the employees clothes - that would be a no for me) to determine if I want to place an order and I was doing this...
Read more02/23/24- I know I said I'd never give this place another chance but I decided to try it this morning around 11:00 a.m. The sign says they open at 10:00 a.m. but I get there several cars are in the parking lot I assume they're employees the drive-thru's closed, the insides closed, no one has an explanation except people yelling out the window they're closed so what the hell is going on with this particular Popeyes. Close it down that way people won't be misled and come here
9-11-23- This Popeyes is constantly in a state of chaos. It seems every time, and I mean EVERYTIME, I have come here there are problems getting a full order. They are always OUT of something. I've arrived at opening times and they are out of a side item. Whenever they have a Featured Item, especially Seafood, I've never been able to obtain it at this location.
I went there today, and the entire restaurant smelled of burned cooking oil. Upon ordering, I was informed that all of the chicken present (at least 50 or more pieces) was cooked in burned oil and there would be a 60-90 wait for fresh chicken. Who continues to cook chicken in burned oil once you realize that the oil is bad. There's no way you can't tell that oil is burnt, it smells.
I asked, what will happen to all of the chicken on the racks already cooked, will it be sold at a discount? The manager, said, no we HAVE TO THROW IT OUT. The chicken was clearly edible, and they really couldn't salvage it to a food bank or sell it at discount. What a Waste. I clearly have to stop being a glutton for punishment and go to the Taylor location, even though this one is...
