Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Westland

Got there about 8:30 on my daughters birthday, yes it was late… was a crazy day! Two younger girls where there and they had many lights off, to where I was bummed and thought they were closed at first but figured I’d try the door anyway. And it was open, go in, there is not one donut or muffin behind the counter and all the lights in that area were off. Seems they are trying to make it look closed and empty stuff before closing so they couldn’t LEAVe at closing, instead of then “closing” (doing all that kind of stuff)

The cakes are so tiny for the price and they didn’t have one I loved so I just picked one that would do… then I asked her to write happy birthday and the one girl took it like ok and the girl from the side tells her no, so then she turns to me and tells me they don’t have the icing to write. So I left and got cake and ice cream across the street. Getting a small cake and an ice cream cake (all ice cream, frosted like a cake)… buying both do those were cheaper than the little one I was about to pay for here.

I don’t blame people for starting to clean stuff they can to get out as fast as they can, afterrrrr they close, but not when you toss everything people want and I am side deny stuff if things are...

This location has some questionable procedures! I came here, After calling to confirm first, if they were able to make an ice cream sponge Bob cake. I was told on the phone yes. When I get there I'm instructed to talk to the"cake decorator" who couldn't show me ANY work she/ they've done in store instead she's showing me pinterest cakes off her phone! When I asked if the cake will look identical to the pictures (because these are public photos, not Baskin Robin/ her work) she explained these are just photos so she will TRY... She showed me about 4 pictures but explained she could only produce 1 because they only had the decisions for one cake, which was a clunky sponge Bob toy. After she insisted I get the one cake I DID NOT WANT I ended the conversion and kindly left with no cake. Went right down the road to Walmart and got the cake I wanted at half the price and hassle. The store was clean, easy to see from the road. There was a caucasian woman and black Male very helpful and polite, the other two employees not so much... Although I stay close to this location I will...

Avoid this Baskin-Robbins at all costs. I ordered a cake for my hubby's birthday 3 days in advance. It was supposed to be ready at noon, I got a phone call at 2pm (as I pulled into the parking lot) to not come until 3pm as it wasn't ready yet... fine, not a big deal. I came at 4pm, not only was it clearly melted, but they also tried to give it to me like it's perfectly fine. My first and last time there. How they're in business is beyond me. Also, the workers there gave me the manager's phone number, I called her and she kept giving me excuses that she runs around several of the stores and couldn't get my cake on time and that she had just made my cake and she tried to persuade me that my ice cream cake is not melted because she had just made it... as I was staring at it absolutely melted.
