Quan Kim Thap — Restaurant in Westminster

I come here when I’m craving Bột Chiên only because not very many places can do it right. It’s another typical Cash Only serving Vietnamese food.

This place claims that they are the best and most authentic. It’s definitely a dated Ma and Pa’s shop with only a few chairs. The last is load and not very friendly but you can tell that her livelihood and pride depends on the food. She means well and I’m not there to make a friend. I’m only here when I want to eat some of the authentic Vietnamese dishes that they offer.

Their specialty includes Dệ Nhất Bột Chên Sài Gòn which is my favorite. Hủ Tiếu and Canh Bún are good when I need something soupy to pair with my favorite dish. They also serve Gỏi Đu Đủ Khô Bò Gan Cháy and Bò Bía Nóng that I eat as appetizers when I come with a few friends.

As for drinks, their Đậu Xanh Lá Dứa is good. They also have Chè Sâm Bổ Lượng, Chè Thái and Rau Má which are legit.

I’ve seen them sell at the Lunar New Year food stands at Mile Square Park. I would not eat anything at those food tents because it doesn't look very sanitary and water to main cleanliness looks scarce. I trust their permanent location and thank goodness that I haven't has an upset stomach the few times that...

Absolutely incredible! This small local gem completely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about their food.

I ordered the pho and spring rolls, and both were out of this world. The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh ingredients. The spring rolls were crisp, light, and packed with flavor—some of the best I’ve had.

What really stood out was the atmosphere—it’s cozy, authentic, and feels like you’re getting a homemade meal straight from someone's kitchen in Vietnam.

I went there with my family 5kids and 2 adults. The meal is cool when brought out and the cook did not know how to make a sunny side up eggs . We ordered 3 broken rice with sunny side up eggs each dish. However, the eggs were well done cook . It was maybe from the cook personal that he/she does not likes the egg being raw . The menu is 100% in Vietnamese.we tried but nothing will...
