QT Salon — Local services in Westminster

It's been 5 years since I cut my hair. Last time I sat in one of these chairs was Jan. 18, 2020. I impulsively decided to cut my hair last minute, a few days before my birthday. I also had my bday photo shoot the same day of my hair cut.

Parking: They're located in a big plaza with plenty of free parking.

Service: It did took a while for a worker to acknowledge me after I walked in. Once they did recognize me, I felt rushed into a chair. But it was more calm afterwards. All workers are Vietnamese, but they do speak English. Enough to understand. I understand Viet, but idk how to respond lol. I made an appointment through Yelp. I received an immediate response from Tracy, and she was very responsive the whole time. She gave me an estimate of how much my hair cut would be and was able to accommodate a last min appointment.

Style: I came in for a straight cut above the shoulders. I didn't have the best reference photo, but they still did amazing! Tracy measured my hair, and it was a little over 30 inches long. She let me cut my own hair to start off haha. We cut off 20 inches. I was shampooed by another worker (forgot her name). Kenny cut the rest of my hair, and he was quick and efficient. He carefully cut my hair, blow dried, & straightened it.

PLS NOT COME. THE OWNER GOES TO EVERY SINGLE PAGES ON FB TO POST HER HAIR SALON. No customers recommend this place. I had my hair charged $300 and I gave $20 tips for the hair dresser including dye, fake curl, hair cut and keratin treatment. I have no complain about the price but the service was horrible. The second picture is the color and shiny that I want. The first picture is what my hair done at QT salon. I can accept my hair not curl due to it temporarily but the color and the keratin is the problem. The owner said I can come back to color my hair again for free. I said I don’t want anymore bleach on my hair because it already too damaged and I just need to do the keratin again to recover my hair and I already paid $50 for that. When I came to the store, the owner wants to charge extra $50 for keratin with the reason is: If I do the regular keratin I paid yesterday it will look the same so no point to do it and if I want to do again I have to do the luxury one and cost extra $50. Why she didn’t mention that when I first paid $300? She also guaranty my hair will look shiny as the picture. Cannot imagine how angry I had with this salon. I walked in earlier today asking for a quote on a ombre hair color. The owner said it would be $130, 2 hours and 3o minute later she didn't do what I asked her to do, she ruined my Express jacket which was about $70 and cut my hair which I didn't want her to do. She barely even lighten my hair and demand me to pay the full amount even when she ruined my Express jacket.
