I used to go out of my way to go to this location due to how well it was run by the previous owner however everything has changed under the new franchise owner. Although this location is not as bad as the one in Gardner, it's still not a welcoming atmosphere. The employees don't wash their hands unless you point it out and they are slow to appear when working out back. Like the Gardner locations, this location does not seem to adhere to the standard portions that has been provided over the past 15 years (for example a 6" used to get 3 slices of pepperoni and 3 slices of salami, now they give only 2 slices of each; an egg flatbread used to get 2 egg patties, now they give one but slice it in half to make it appear like it's the same portion). I questioned why less is being provided they told me "we don't like to" give out as much and that it's what they were instructed to do. I said but what is the standard portion, isn't it 2 egg patties? They deflected and didn't want to answer. Only after I said I worked for Subway previously did they admit that I was right and provided the correct portion size. From what the employees have said, all three locations (2 in Gardner and 1 in Westminster) operate under the same owner and all 3 locations are providing smaller portions to save money and that is also why they frequently refuse to accept valid coupons. I no longer go to any of these locations due to the new franchise owners decision to provide less food at higher prices. I now resort to buying the subway sauces at Walmart and making the...
Read moreive always been happy and satisfied with every other employee except the teenage/ young adult girl, possibly the daughter of the family who runs the subway. she always has a metal lid up blocking your view of the meat and cheese section, so you cant watch her make your food and make sure she is doing it how you would like. no other employee does this in my experience at this subway. i always feel like she looks at me weird, like im crazy when i ask for something extra or special, such as having my sub toasted before something a certain item is added, or asking for less meat than they would normally put. i dont receive this look or confusion from any other employee and this subway. and on top of the weird look, sometimes she ignores what i ask for anyways. she has to ask about a million times what you want on your sub and always puts too much or too little on your sub. i get the sense of a rude and judgmental undertone in her voice and in the questions she asks. i always walk into the westminster subway with a smile and positive attitude, but whenever this girl serves me i walk out confused, frustrated, unhappy and unsatisfied with how my food was prepared and the service i...
Read moreUnfortunately, this is the second time. I have gone and have been so disappointed. Not that my review will change anything, but hopefully will help other customers choose a different establishment to spend their money at!! First time order through a food delivery app. Paid for a 12" and got a 6". No big deal what can you do.. BUT this second time.... sent my husband to grab me a sub that I would eat later tonight at work. Ask if it was possible to just toss the tomatoes, pickles, and banana peppers together in a side cup. So the bread wouldn't get soggy. The employee did not want to do that. My husband asking again.. instead of putting it on the sandwich can you please just toss those items in a soda cup together. He offered to pay for the cup and or the up charge for the veggies not going directly on the sandwich. Employee charged him for the 6" sub and a salad " AKA the 3 toppings in a soda cup" I work in the industry and I understand having to follow rules. But that's alittle insane. I won't be giving them anymore...
