As far as pizza goes, this is one of the better in the area. I like how they imbed The toppings within the cheese and not just have them haphazardly thrown on top. Not overly greasy but also not dry. Their gluten-free pizzas are some of the best we've had in the area and not shy on toppings! The french fries here are very good especially when they come out hot. Onion rings are on par as well. The steak and cheese sub I had was a bit on the bland side and I dislike the way they layer in the onions. The onions need to be grilled more and cut up better. These were just a bit too long and stringy and way too overbearing in the sub. Not overbearing necessarily flavor wise, but literally their presentation in the sub. I desire more caramelization on my grilled onions and such. The bread was a soft as you can come though which helped keep my impression of this sub positive. Other subs that I have had here have been decent but nothing to write home to Mom about. The baklava seems to be just a store-bought slice and a bit on the dryer side. All this being said, this is still one of my favorite pizza / sub shops in the area and my family frequent it. The staff here is above and beyond the kind and possibly the nicest pizza shop owners I have met. Absolutely recommend trying...
Read more3* because I wanted to try them and genuinely believe they could be good, BUT after thinking I'd have an easy bar food night in for a guy on the road, at the hotel, turned into what would have been a $30+ order. Wanted just tenders and mozzarella sticks. Thought $20+ with delivery/tip. Their site wanted a minimum $20 order online for delivery less than 5 min and add a delivery fee $3, then add tax, then add tip? Yikes. Just seems a bit crazy to expect a minimum of $30 for delivery, basically (food, fee, tip)... unless you're ordering for a group.
Response.... To ownership response....
I did look on your site.... Even went back.... Your website has an "order online" button. You click it and it takes you to the menu with ZERO mention of a minimum or additional delivery fee until AFTER you try to order. And you never filled the order cause who pays $30 for chicken tenders and...
Read moreI’m only putting one star because you can’t put zero. Was my favorite place for 20 years. New ownership/management has certainly changed that. You can no longer go there for lunch because even when no one is there it’s always a 25-30 wait regardless of what you order. I called and asked if they have gluten free pizza and he says yes. I call back, order two pizzas, very specific about one being gluten free. I go pick it up 30 minutes later, by the way no other customers or orders at the time. I ask to make sure that one is gluten free and he says he doesn’t have gluten free. If I didn’t double check someone could of gotten sick. No comment from him about a misunderstanding, no apology, no nothing. The two other pizza places in town will get my business now! The new manager...
